137 我们曾在巴比伦的河边坐下，一追想锡安就哭了。
2 我们把琴挂在那里的柳树上。
3 因为在那里，掳掠我们的要我们唱歌，抢夺我们的要我们作乐，说：“给我们唱一首锡安歌吧！”
4 我们怎能在外邦唱耶和华的歌呢？
5 耶路撒冷啊，我若忘记你，情愿我的右手忘记技巧！
6 我若不记念你，若不看耶路撒冷过于我所最喜乐的，情愿我的舌头贴于上膛！
7 耶路撒冷遭难的日子，以东人说：“拆毁！拆毁！直拆到根基！”耶和华啊，求你记念这仇！
8 将要被灭的巴比伦城[a]啊，报复你像你待我们的，那人便为有福！
9 拿你的婴孩摔在磐石上的，那人便为有福！

137 我們曾坐在巴比倫的河畔，
在那裡我們一想起錫安就哭了。
2 我們把我們的琴
掛在那裡的柳樹上。
3 因為在那裡，擄掠我們的人要我們唱歌，
苦待我們的人要我們娛樂他們；
他們說：“為我們唱一首錫安歌吧！”
4 我們怎能在異族之地
唱耶和華的歌呢？
5 耶路撒冷啊！如果我忘記你，
情願我的右手忘記技巧（“忘記技巧”或譯：“枯乾”）。
6 如果我不記念你，
如果我不高舉耶路撒冷
超過我最大的喜樂，
情願我的舌頭緊貼上膛。
7 耶和華啊！求你記念以東人在耶路撒冷遭難的日子所行的，
他們說：“拆毀它，拆毀它，
直拆到根基。”

Longing for Zion in a Foreign Land
137 By the rivers of Babylon,
There we sat down, yea, we wept
When we remembered Zion.
2 We hung our harps
Upon the willows in the midst of it.
3 For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song,
And those who (A)plundered us requested mirth,
Saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
4 How shall we sing the Lord’s song
In a foreign land?
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
Let my right hand forget its skill!
6 If I do not remember you,
Let my (B)tongue cling to the roof of my mouth—
If I do not exalt Jerusalem
Above my chief joy.
7 Remember, O Lord, against (C)the sons of Edom
The day of Jerusalem,
Who said, [a]“Raze it, raze it,
To its very foundation!”
8 O daughter of Babylon, (D)who are to be destroyed,
Happy the one (E)who repays you as you have served us!
9 Happy the one who takes and (F)dashes
Your little ones against the rock!
