¹耶和华啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大，重大和测不透的事，我也不敢行。
²我的心平稳安静，好像断过奶的孩子在他母亲的怀中，我的心在我里面真像断过奶的孩子。
³以色列啊，你当仰望耶和华，从今时直到永远。

¹I am not conceited, Lord,
and I don't waste my time
    on impossible schemes.
²But I have learned to feel safe
    and satisfied,
like a young child
    in its mother's arms.

³People of Israel,
you must trust the Lord

¹Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in matters too great or in things too wonderful for me.

²Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me [ceased from fretting].

³O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever.
