¹耶和华啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大，重大和测不透的事，我也不敢行。
²我的心平稳安静，好像断过奶的孩子在他母亲的怀中，我的心在我里面真像断过奶的孩子。
³以色列啊，你当仰望耶和华，从今时直到永远。

131 耶和华啊，
我的心不狂傲，
我的眼目也不高傲；
我不敢涉猎太伟大、太奇妙的事。
²我的心灵平静安稳，
如同母亲身边断奶的孩子，
我的心灵如同断奶的孩子。
³以色列啊，
你要仰望耶和华，
从现在直到永远。

Childlike trust in Jehovah.

A Song of Ascents; of David.

131 Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty;
Neither do I ^[a]exercise myself in great matters,
Or in things too wonderful for me.
²Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child with his mother,
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
³O Israel, hope in Jehovah
From this time forth and for evermore.
