131 Señor, mi corazón no es orgulloso, ni mis ojos altivos; no busco grandezas, ni cosas que sean mayores a mis fuerzas. 2 Pero estoy callado y tranquilo, como un niño pequeño está quieto al lado de su madre. Sí, como un niño pequeño es mi alma.
3 Israel, pon tu esperanza en el Señor desde ahora y para siempre.

131 Lord, my heart is not [a]haughty,
Nor my eyes [b]lofty.
(A)Neither do I [c]concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too [d]profound for me.
2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
(B)Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 (C)O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
