在憂苦中祈求　神看顧

大衛的詩，交給詩班長。

13 耶和華啊！你忘記我要到幾時呢？

要到永遠嗎？

你掩面不顧我，要到幾時呢？

2 我心裡籌算不安，內心終日愁苦，要到幾時呢？

我的仇敵勝過我，要到幾時呢？

3 耶和華我的　神啊！求你看顧我，應允我；

求你使我的眼睛明亮，免得我沉睡至死；

4 免得我的仇敵說：“我勝過了他”；

免得我跌倒的時候我的敵人就歡呼。

5 至於我，我倚靠你的慈愛，

我的心必因你的救恩歡呼。

6 我要歌頌耶和華，因他以厚恩待我。（本章第5~6節在《馬索拉文本》為13:6）

Prayer for Help in Time of Trouble

13 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? 2 How long must I plan what to do in my soul, and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long will those who hate me rise above me?

3 Look on me and answer, O Lord, my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death. 4 Or the one who hates me will say, “I have power over him.” And those who hate me will be happy when I am shaken.

5 But I have trusted in Your loving-kindness. My heart will be full of joy because You will save me. 6 I will sing to the Lord, because He has been good to me.

2 Herr, wie lange wirst du mich noch vergessen,
    wie lange hältst du dich vor mir verborgen?
3 Wie lange noch sollen Sorgen mich quälen,
wie lange soll der Kummer Tag für Tag an mir nagen?
    Wie lange noch wird mein Feind über mir stehen?

4 Herr, mein Gott, wende dich mir zu und antworte mir!
    Lass mich wieder froh werden und neuen Mut gewinnen,
    sonst bin ich dem Tod geweiht.
5 Mein Feind würde triumphieren und sagen:
»Den habe ich zur Strecke gebracht!«
    Meine Gegner würden jubeln über meinen Untergang.

6 Ich aber vertraue auf deine Liebe
und juble darüber, dass du mich retten wirst.
    Mit meinem Lied will ich dich loben,
    denn du, Herr, hast mir Gutes getan.

1 How long,(A) Lord? Will you forget me(B) forever?
    How long will you hide your face(C) from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts(D)
    and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
    How long will my enemy triumph over me?(E)

3 Look on me(F) and answer,(G) Lord my God.
    Give light to my eyes,(H) or I will sleep in death,(I)
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,(J)”
    and my foes will rejoice when I fall.(K)

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;(L)
    my heart rejoices in your salvation.(M)
6 I will sing(N) the Lord’s praise,
    for he has been good to me.
