求上帝击退仇敌

上圣殿朝圣之诗。

129 以色列要说：
我从小就深受仇敌的迫害，
²我从小就深受仇敌的迫害，
但他们没能胜过我。
³他们鞭打我的背，
伤痕如同农夫耕出的长长犁沟。
⁴耶和华是公义的，
祂砍断了恶人捆绑我的绳索。
⁵愿所有憎恶锡安的人狼狈而逃。
⁶愿他们像房顶的草，
没长起来就已枯萎，
⁷割下来不满一把，
扎起来不足一捆。
⁸没有一个路过的人说：
“愿耶和华赐福给你们！
我们奉耶和华的名祝福你们。”

但他們沒能勝過我。
³他們鞭打我的背，
傷痕如同農夫耕出的長長犁溝。
⁴耶和華是公義的，
祂砍斷了惡人捆綁我的繩索。
⁵願所有憎惡錫安的人狼狽而逃。
⁶願他們像房頂的草，
沒長起來就已枯萎，
⁷割下來不滿一把，
紮起來不足一捆。
⁸沒有一個路過的人說：
「願耶和華賜福給你們！
我們奉耶和華的名祝福你們。」

Psalm 129

Protection of the Oppressed

A song of ascents.

¹Since my youth they have often attacked me—
let Israel say—
²Since my youth they have often attacked me,
but they have not prevailed against me.^(A)
³Plowmen plowed over my back;
they made their furrows long.^(B)
⁴The Lord is righteous;
He has cut the ropes of the wicked.^(C)

⁵Let all who hate Zion
be driven back in disgrace.^(D)
⁶Let them be like grass on the rooftops,
which withers before it grows up^[a]^(E)
⁷and can’t even fill the hands of the reaper
or the arms of the one who binds sheaves.^(F)
⁸Then none who pass by will say,
“May the Lord’s blessing be on you.”

We bless you in the name of Yahweh.^(G)
