俘囚返錫安讚美耶和華

126 上行之詩。

1 當耶和華將那些被擄的帶回錫安的時候，我們好像做夢的人。
2 我們滿口喜笑、滿舌歡呼的時候，外邦中就有人說：「耶和華為他們行了大事！」
3 耶和華果然為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。
4 耶和華啊，求你使我們被擄的人歸回，好像南地的河水復流。
5 流淚撒種的，必歡呼收割。
6 那帶種流淚出去的，必要歡歡樂樂地帶禾捆回來。

Från tårar till jubel

1 En vallfartssång.

När Herren gjorde slut på Sions fångenskap,
då var vi som drömmande.
2 Då fylldes vår mun med skratt
    och vår tunga med jubel.
Då sade man bland hednafolken:
    " Herren har gjort stora ting med dem."
3 Ja, Herren har gjort stora ting med oss,
och vi är glada.

4 Herre, låt våra fångar komma åter
liksom strömmarna i Negev.
5 De som sår med tårar
    skall skörda med jubel.
6 Gråtande går de ut och bär sitt utsäde.
Med jubel kommer de åter och bär sina kärvar.

A Song of Ascents.

126 When (A)the Lord brought back [a]the captivity of Zion,
(B)We were like those who dream.
2 Then (C)our mouth was filled with laughter,
And our tongue with singing.
Then they said among the [b]nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
And we are glad.

4 Bring back our captivity, O Lord,
As the streams in the South.

5 (D)Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
6 He who continually goes [c]forth weeping,
Bearing [d]seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again [e]with (E)rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him.

Psalm 126

1 When the Lord restored(A) the fortunes of[a] Zion,
    we were like those who dreamed.[b]
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,(B)
    our tongues with songs of joy.(C)
Then it was said among the nations,
    “The Lord has done great things(D) for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things(E) for us,
    and we are filled with joy.(F)

4 Restore our fortunes,[c](G) Lord,
    like streams in the Negev.(H)
5 Those who sow with tears(I)
    will reap(J) with songs of joy.(K)
6 Those who go out weeping,(L)
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.
