为耶路撒冷祷告

大卫上圣殿朝圣之诗。

122 人们对我说：
“让我们去耶和华的殿吧！”
我感到欢喜。
²耶路撒冷啊，
我们踏进你的城门了。
³耶路撒冷是一座整齐坚固的城。
⁴以色列各支派，耶和华的子民，
都遵照祂赐的法度去那里称谢祂。
⁵那里有审判的王座，
就是大卫家的王座。
⁶要为耶路撒冷的和平祷告，
愿爱这城的人亨通。
⁷耶路撒冷啊！
愿你城内有平安，
你的宫里有安宁，
⁸为了我的亲人和朋友，
我要祈求平安临到你。
⁹为了我们的上帝耶和华的殿，
我要为你求福祉。

Psalm 122

A pilgrimage song. Of David.

122 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let’s go to the Lord’s house!”
²Now our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem!

³Jerusalem is built like a city
    joined together in unity.
⁴That is where the tribes go up—
    the Lord’s tribes!
It is the law for Israel
    to give thanks there to the Lord’s name,
⁵    because the thrones of justice are there—
    the thrones of the house of David!

⁶Pray that Jerusalem has peace:
    “Let those who love you have rest.
⁷    Let there be peace on your walls;
    let there be rest on your fortifications.”
⁸For the sake of my family and friends,
    I say, “Peace be with you, Jerusalem.”
⁹For the sake of the Lord our God’s house
    I will pray for your good.
