Psalm 122
New King James Version
The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
122 I was glad when they said to me,
(A)“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet have been standing
Within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built
As a city that is (B)compact together,
4 (C)Where the tribes go up,
The tribes of the Lord,
[a]To (D)the Testimony of Israel,
To give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5 (E)For thrones are set there for judgment,
The thrones of the house of David.
6 (F)Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will (G)seek your good.

122 Yo me alegré cuando me dijeron:
«Vamos a la casa del Señor(A)».
2 Plantados están nuestros pies
Dentro de tus puertas(B), oh Jerusalén.
3 Jerusalén, que está edificada(C)
Como ciudad compacta, bien unida(D),
4 A la cual suben las tribus(E), las tribus del Señor,
(Lo cual es ordenanza para Israel)
Para alabar el nombre del Señor.
5 Porque allí se establecieron tronos para juicio(F),
Los tronos de la casa de David.
6 ¶Oren ustedes por la paz de Jerusalén(G):
«Sean prosperados los que te aman(H).
7 -»Haya paz dentro de tus muros(I),
Y prosperidad en tus palacios(J)».
8 Por amor de mis hermanos y de mis amigos(K),
Diré ahora: «Sea la paz en ti(L)».
9 Por amor de la casa del Señor nuestro Dios
Procuraré tu bien(M).
