El Señor te protegerá
Canto para los peregrinos.
1 Miro a lo alto de las montañas en busca de ayuda,
¿de dónde vendrá mi ayuda?
2 Mi ayuda vendrá del SEÑOR,
el creador del cielo y de la tierra.
3 Dios no te dejará caer;
tu protector nunca se dormirá.
4 El protector de Israel nunca duerme
ni se deja rendir por el sueño.
5 El SEÑOR es tu protector.
El SEÑOR siempre está a tu lado
como una sombra, para protegerte.
6 El sol no te lastimará durante el día
ni la luna durante la noche.
7 El SEÑOR te protegerá de todo mal,
protegerá tu vida.
8 El SEÑOR protegerá tu ida y tu venida,
desde ahora y para siempre.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

From whence comes my help?
2 (B)My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 (C)He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved;
(D)He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your [b]keeper;
The Lord is (E)your shade (F)at your right hand.
6 (G)The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall [c]preserve you from all evil;
He shall (H)preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall (I)preserve[d] your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
