祈求 神保护脱离是非
大卫的诗，交给诗班长，调用“舍明尼”。
12 耶和华啊！求你施行拯救，因为虔诚人没有了，
在世人中的信实人也不见了。
2 他们彼此说谎，
用谄媚的嘴唇说话，口是心非。
3 愿耶和华剪除一切说谄媚话的嘴唇，
和说夸大话的舌头。
4 他们曾说：“我们必能以舌头取胜；
我们的嘴唇是自己的，谁能作我们的主呢？”
5 耶和华说：“因为困苦人的冤屈和贫穷人的叹息，
我现在要起来，把他们安置在他们渴望的稳妥之中。”
6 耶和华的言语是纯净的言语，
好象银子在泥炉中炼过，精炼过七次一样。
7 耶和华啊！求你保守我们，
保护我们（《马索拉文本》，“我们……我们”作“他们……他”；现参照其他抄本及《七十士译本》翻译）永远脱离这世代的人。
8 恶人到处横行，
邪恶在世人中被高举。

Gud håller vad han lovat
1-2 Herre, hjälp oss! Det finns snart inga gudfruktiga människor längre. Var i hela världen kan man träffa på någon som man kan lita på?
3 Alla ljuger och förtalar varandra. Det tycks inte finnas någon ärlighet kvar.
4-5 Men Herren kommer inte att se mellan fingrarna med de människor som handlar på det sättet. Han ska förgöra dessa högfärdiga lögnare som säger: Vi kan ljuga oss till vad som helst. Vi säger vad vi vill, och vem kan hindra oss?
6 Herren svarar: Jag kommer att resa mig och försvara de förtryckta, de fattiga och dem som har det svårt. De har längtat efter att jag ska befria dem.
7 Herrens löfte är sant. Han säger inget förhastat. Hans ord är klart och tydligt, det är som äkta silver som renats sju gånger.
8 Herre, vi vet att du alltid ska se till att dina egna är utom räckhåll för onda människor,
9 även om dessa stryker omkring dem på alla sidor i detta land där uselheten applåderas.

1 Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;(A)
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
2 Everyone lies(B) to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.(C)
3 May the Lord silence all flattering lips(D)
and every boastful tongue—(E)
4 those who say,
“By our tongues we will prevail;(F)
our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”

12 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
