When Israel Went Out from Egypt

114 When Israel went out (A)from Egypt,
The house of Jacob from a people of (B)strange language,
2 Judah became (C)His sanctuary,
Israel, (D)His dominion.

3 The (E)sea looked and fled;
The (F)Jordan turned back.
4 The mountains (G)skipped like rams,
The hills, like lambs.
5 What (H)disturbs you, O sea, that you flee?
O Jordan, that you turn back?
6 O mountains, that you skip like rams?
O hills, like lambs?

7 (I)Tremble, O earth, before the Lord,
Before the God of Jacob,
8 Who (J)turned the rock into a (K)pool of water,
The (L)flint into a spring of water.

114 Cuando los israelitas salieron de Egipto,(A)
y la familia de Jacob abandonó ese pueblo extraño,
2 Judá se convirtió en el santuario del Señor
y el pueblo de Israel llegó a ser su dominio.

3 Cuando el mar vio al Señor, se retiró;(B)
también el río Jordán dejó de fluir.(C)
4 Los montes saltaban como carneros,
¡las colinas brincaban como corderitos!

5 Dime, mar, ¿por qué te retiraste?
Y tú, Jordán, ¿por qué dejaste de fluir?
6 Y ustedes, montes y colinas,
¿por qué saltaban como carneros?
¿Por qué brincaban como corderitos?

7 En presencia del Señor, la tierra tiembla;
¡tiembla en presencia del Dios de Jacob!
8 El Señor convirtió la peña en un manantial;(D)
¡convirtió la roca en fuentes cristalinas!

114 Khi dân Ít-ra-en ra khỏi Ai-cập,
    nhà Gia-cốp rời bỏ một xứ ngoại quốc.
2 Giu-đa trở thành nơi thánh cho Chúa;
    Ít-ra-en trở nên đất Ngài cai trị.
3 Hồng hải nhìn xong liền bỏ chạy;
    sông Giô-đanh chảy lùi lại.
4 Núi nhún nhảy như dê đực,
    và đồi nhảy nhót như cừu non.

5 Nầy biển, sao ngươi bỏ chạy?
