La dicha del hombre honrado
112 ¡Aleluya!
Feliz el hombre que honra al Señor
y se complace en sus mandatos.
2 Los descendientes del hombre honrado
serán bendecidos y tendrán poder en la tierra.
3 En su casa hay abundantes riquezas,
y su generosidad es constante.
4 Brilla una luz en la oscuridad
para los hombres honrados,
para el que es compasivo, clemente y justo.
5 El hombre de bien presta con generosidad
y maneja con honradez sus negocios;
6 por eso jamás llegará a caer.
¡El hombre justo será siempre recordado!
7 No tiene miedo de malas noticias;
su corazón está firme, confiado en el Señor.
8 Su corazón está firme; no tiene miedo,
y aun mira con burla a sus enemigos.
9 Reparte limosna entre los pobres,
su generosidad es constante,
levanta la frente con honor.
10 El malvado se enfurece al verlo;
en su impotencia rechina los dientes.
La ambición de los malvados fracasará.

Prosperidad del que teme a Jehová
Aleluya.
112 Bienaventurado el hombre que teme a Jehová,
Y en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera.
2 Su descendencia será poderosa en la tierra;
La generación de los rectos será bendita.
3 Bienes y riquezas hay en su casa,
Y su justicia permanece para siempre.
4 Resplandeció en las tinieblas una luz para los rectos;
Es clemente, misericordioso y justo.
5 El hombre de bien tiene misericordia, y presta;
Gobierna sus asuntos con juicio,
6 Por lo cual no será zarandeado jamás;
En memoria eterna será el justo.
7 No tendrá temor de malas noticias;
Su corazón está firme, confiado en Jehová.
8 Seguro está su corazón; no temerá,
Al fin confundirá a sus adversarios.
9 Reparte, da a los pobres;
Su justicia permanece para siempre;
Su poder será exaltado en gloria.
10 Lo verá el impío y se irritará;
Crujirá los dientes, y se consumirá.
El deseo de los impíos perecerá.

2 Their children(E) will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches(F) are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures(G) forever.
4 Even in darkness light dawns(H) for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.(I)
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,(J)
who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken;(K)
they will be remembered(L) forever.
7 They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast,(M) trusting in the Lord.(N)
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;(O)
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.(P)
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,(Q)
their righteousness endures(R) forever;
their horn[c] will be lifted(S) high in honor.

112 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
