箭已經上弦，

要從暗處射那心裡正直的人。

3 根基既然毀壞，

義人還能作甚麼呢？”

2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;(A)
    they set their arrows(B) against the strings
to shoot from the shadows(C)
    at the upright in heart.(D)
3 When the foundations(E) are being destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”

4 The Lord is in his holy temple;(F)
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.(G)
He observes everyone on earth;(H)
    his eyes examine(I) them.
