耶和华救人脱诸苦难
107 “你们要称谢耶和华，因他本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”
2 愿耶和华的赎民说这话，就是他从敌人手中所救赎的，
3 从各地，从东从西，从南从北所招聚来的。
使漂流者安居
4 他们在旷野荒地漂流，寻不见可住的城邑，
5 又饥又渴，心里发昏。
6 于是他们在苦难中哀求耶和华，他从他们的祸患中搭救他们。
7 又领他们行走直路，使他们往可居住的城邑。
8 但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所行的奇事都称赞他！
9 因他使心里渴慕的人得以知足，使心里饥饿的人得饱美物。
捆锁者得释
10 那些坐在黑暗中死荫里的人，被困苦和铁链捆锁，
11 是因他们违背神的话语，藐视至高者的旨意。

Dios es bueno con su pueblo
SALMO 107 (106)
107 ¡Alabemos a nuestro Dios!
¡Démosle gracias, porque él es bueno!
¡Dios nunca deja de amarnos!
2 ¡Digámoslo nosotros,
pues él nos liberó
del poder de los egipcios!
3 Digámoslo nosotros,
que somos su pueblo,
pueblo que él reunió
de países del norte y del sur,
del este y del oeste.
4 Nuestros abuelos andaban sin rumbo
y por lugares desiertos;
no encontraban el camino
que los llevara a un lugar habitado.
5 Tenían hambre y sed,
y habían perdido la esperanza
de quedar con vida.
6 Llenos de angustia, oraron a Dios,
y él los libró de su aflicción.
7 Los puso en el camino correcto
que los llevaría a un lugar habitado.
8 ¡Demos gracias a Dios por su amor,
por todo lo que ha hecho
en favor nuestro!
9 ¡Dios calma la sed del sediento,
y el hambre del hambriento!
10 Nuestros abuelos estaban afligidos,

13 Llenos de angustia, oraron a Dios,
y él los salvó de su aflicción,
14 les mostró el camino a seguir
y los libró de su esclavitud.
15 ¡Demos gracias a Dios
por su amor,
por todo lo que ha hecho
en favor nuestro!
16 ¡Hizo pedazos las puertas de bronce
y las barras de hierro
que nos tenían prisioneros!
17 Nuestros abuelos fueron tan rebeldes
que se portaron como unos tontos;
sufrieron mucho por su maldad.
18 ¡Tan enfermos se pusieron
que al ver la comida vomitaban!
19 Llenos de angustia, oraron a Dios,
y él los salvó de su aflicción;
20 con sólo una orden los sanó.
¡Así los salvó de la muerte!
21 ¡Demos gracias a Dios
por su amor,
por todo lo que ha hecho
en favor nuestro!
22 ¡Démosle muestras de gratitud,
y presentémosle ofrendas!
¡Anunciemos entre gritos de alegría
las maravillas que ha hecho!
23 Nuestros abuelos compraron barcos
y se ganaron la vida
comerciando en otros países.
24 En alta mar presenciaron
la acción maravillosa de nuestro Dios:
25 Dios dio una orden,
y vino un fuerte viento
que levantaba grandes olas.
26 Cuando se vieron en peligro,
los marineros perdieron el valor;
eran lanzados de arriba abajo,
27 y de nada les servía
ser marineros expertos,
pues se tropezaban y caían
como si estuvieran borrachos.
28 Llenos de angustia, oraron a Dios,
y él los sacó de su aflicción;
29 calmó la furia de la tormenta,
y aplacó las olas del mar.
30 Cuando se calmó la tormenta,
ellos se pusieron muy contentos
y Dios los llevó a su destino.
31 ¡Demos gracias a Dios
por su amor,
por todo lo que ha hecho
en favor nuestro!
32 ¡Que lo alaben todo el pueblo
y sus gobernantes!
33 Dios convirtió en desiertos
los ríos y los manantiales,
34 pero a la tierra fértil
la convirtió en tierra inútil,
porque los que allí vivían
eran gente muy malvada;
35 en cambio, al desierto
lo convirtió en tierra fértil,
rodeada de lagunas y manantiales.
36 Al pueblo que había pasado hambre,
lo dejó vivir allí,
y ellos construyeron grandes ciudades,
37 sembraron campos,
plantaron viñedos,
y tuvieron muy buenas cosechas.
38 Dios les dio su bendición,
y ellos tuvieron muchos hijos
y sus ganados se multiplicaron.
39 Tiempo después,
los malvados los humillaron
y los hicieron sufrir,
hasta que sólo unos pocos
quedaron con vida.
40 Pero Dios castigó a esos malvados
y los hizo perderse
por desiertos sin caminos.
41 A la gente pobre
Dios la saca de su aflicción
y hace que sus familias
aumenten como sus rebaños.
42 Cuando la gente honrada ve esto,
se llena de alegría;
pero los malvados se quedan callados.
43 Tomen esto en cuenta los sabios,
y pónganse a meditar

107 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
28 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.
