君王的诺言
大卫的诗。
101 耶和华啊，
我要歌颂你的慈爱和公正，
我要歌颂你。
2 我要谨慎行事，
走正直的路，
你何时来我这里？
我要在家中以正直的心行事。
3 我要弃绝恶事，
我憎恶背弃上帝者的行为，
不沾染他们的恶行。
4 我要远离心思悖逆的人，
不与邪恶的事有任何瓜葛。
5 我要消灭暗中毁谤邻居的人，
也不容忍心高气傲的人。
6 我要看顾国中忠于上帝的人，
让他们与我同住。
行事正直的人才能服侍我。
7 诡诈的人必不得与我同住，
口出谎言的人必不得侍立在我面前。
8 每天早晨我要消灭国中所有的恶人，
从耶和华的城中铲除一切作恶的人。
Psalm 101
King James Version
101 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.
2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.

Je chanterai la bonté et le droit;
c’est toi, Eternel, que je célébrerai.
2 Je serai attentif à la voie des hommes intègres.
Quand viendras-tu vers moi?
Je marcherai avec un cœur intègre
au milieu des miens.
3 Je ne mettrai rien de mauvais devant mes yeux.
Je déteste la conduite des pécheurs:
elle n’aura aucune prise sur moi.
4 Le cœur pervers s’éloignera de moi;
je ne veux pas connaître le méchant.
5 Celui qui dénigre en secret son prochain, je le réduirai au silence;
celui qui a le regard hautain et un cœur orgueilleux, je ne le supporterai pas.
6 J’aurai les yeux sur les fidèles du pays
pour qu’ils habitent près de moi;
celui qui marche dans la voie des hommes intègres sera à mon service.
7 Celui qui se livre à la fraude n’habitera pas dans ma maison;
celui qui dit des mensonges ne se tiendra pas devant moi.
8 Chaque matin, je réduirai au silence tous les méchants du pays,
pour supprimer de la ville de l’Eternel
tous ceux qui commettent l’injustice.
