君王的诺言

大卫的诗。

101 耶和华啊，
我要歌颂你的慈爱和公正，
我要歌颂你。
²我要谨慎行事，
走正直的路，
你何时来我这里？
我要在家中以正直的心行事。
³我要弃绝恶事，
我憎恶背弃上帝者的行为，
不沾染他们的恶行。
⁴我要远离心思悖逆的人，
不与邪恶的事有任何瓜葛。
⁵我要消灭暗中毁谤邻居的人，
也不容忍心高气傲的人。
⁶我要看顾国中忠于上帝的人，
让他们与我同住。
行事正直的人才能服侍我。
⁷诡诈的人必不得与我同住，
口出谎言的人必不得侍立在我面前。
⁸每天早晨我要消灭国中所有的恶人，
从耶和华的城中铲除一切作恶的人。

Psalm 101

A Vow of Integrity

A Davidic psalm.

¹I will sing of faithful love and justice;
I will sing praise to You, Lord.^(A)
²I will pay attention to the way of integrity.
When will You come to me?
I will live with a heart of integrity in my house.^(B)
³I will not set anything worthless before my eyes.
I hate the practice of transgression;
it will not cling to me.^(C)
⁴A devious heart will be far from me;
I will not be involved with^[a] evil.^(D)

⁵I will destroy anyone
who secretly slanders his neighbor;^(E)
I cannot tolerate anyone
with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.^(F)
⁶My eyes favor the faithful of the land
so that they may sit down with me.
The one who follows the way of integrity
may serve me.^(G)
⁷No one who acts deceitfully
will live in my palace;
no one who tells lies
will remain in my presence.^[b]^(H)
⁸Every morning I will destroy
all the wicked of the land,
eliminating all evildoers from the Lord’s city.^(I)

101 Cantaré de tu amor y de tu justicia, oh Señor;
    te alabaré con canciones.
²Tendré cuidado de llevar una vida intachable;

Viviré con integridad
    en mi propio hogar.
³Me negaré a mirar
    cualquier cosa vil o vulgar.
Detesto a los que actúan de manera deshonesta;

⁴Rechazaré las ideas perversas
    y me mantendré alejado de toda clase de mal.
⁵No toleraré a los que calumnian a sus vecinos;
