詩篇卷一

有福的人

1 有福的人：

不從惡人的計謀，

不站罪人的道路，

不坐好譏笑的人的座位。

²他喜愛的是耶和華的律法，

他晝夜默誦的也是耶和華的律法。

³他像一棵樹，栽在溪水旁，

按時結果子，

葉子總不枯乾；

他所作的一切，盡都順利。

⁴惡人卻不是這樣，

他們好像糠秕，

被風吹散。

⁵因此，在審判的時候，惡人必站立不住；

在義人的團體中，罪人也必這樣。

⁶因為耶和華看顧義人的道路，

惡人的道路卻必滅亡。

Psalm 1

¹Oh, the joys of those who do not
    follow the advice of the wicked,
    or stand around with sinners,
    or join in with mockers.
²But they delight in the law of the Lord,
    meditating on it day and night.
³They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
    bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
    and they prosper in all they do.

⁴But not the wicked!
    They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
⁵They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
    Sinners will have no place among the godly.
⁶For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
    but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.
