²耶和華必保全他，使他存活，
他要在地上享福。
求你不要把他交給仇敵，遂其所願。
³他病重在榻，耶和華必扶持他；
他在病中，你必使他離開病床。

⁴我曾說：「耶和華啊，求你憐憫我，
醫治我，因為我得罪了你。」

²The Lord protects^(A) and preserves them—^(B)
    they are counted among the blessed in the land—^(C)
    he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.^(D)
³The Lord sustains them on their sickbed^(E)
    and restores them from their bed of illness.^(F)

⁴I said, “Have mercy^(G) on me, Lord;
heal^(H) me, for I have sinned^(I) against you.”
