祈求引導和赦免
大衛的詩。
25 耶和華啊，我的心仰望你。
2 我的上帝啊，我信靠你，
求你不要叫我蒙羞，
不要讓我的仇敵勝過我。
3 信靠你的必不羞愧，
背信棄義者必蒙羞。
4 耶和華啊，
求你指引我走你的路，
教導我行你的道。
5 求你以你的真理引領我，
教導我，因為你是拯救我的上帝，
我日夜仰望你。
6 耶和華啊，
求你顧念你亙古以來常施的憐憫和慈愛，
7 求你饒恕我年輕時的罪惡和過犯，
以你的恩惠和慈愛待我。
8 耶和華良善公正，
祂教導罪人走正路，
9 指引謙卑人追求公義，
教導他們行祂的道。
10 遵守祂的約和法度的人，
耶和華以慈愛和信實相待。
11 耶和華啊，我罪惡深重，
求你為了自己的名而赦免我。
12 凡敬畏耶和華的人，
耶和華必指示他當走的路。
13 他必享福，
他的後代必承受土地。
14 耶和華與敬畏祂的人為友，
使他們認識祂的約。
15 我常常仰望耶和華，
因為唯有祂能救我脫離網羅。

25 Een lied van David.
Mijn hele wezen is op U gericht, Here!
2 Laat mij niet in de steek, Here,
want ik vertrouw helemaal op U.
Zorg dat mijn vijanden mij niet overwinnen.
3 Niemand die in God gelooft en op Hem vertrouwt,
zal in Hem teleurgesteld worden.
Maar zij die zich onverschillig van u afkeren,
zullen de nederlaag lijden.
4 Toont U mij de paden waarover ik gaan moet, Here.
Wilt U de wegen wijzen die U goed voor mij vindt?
5 Wijst U mij de weg van uw waarheid.
Ik wil van U leren, want U bent de God
van wie ik mijn hulp verwacht.
Op U vestig ik mijn hoop, elke dag van mijn leven.
6 Wilt U naar mij kijken
met ogen vol genade en vergeving,
met eeuwige liefde en vriendelijkheid?
7 Wilt U voorbijgaan aan de zonden
die ik in mijn jeugd begaan heb, Here!
8 De Here is goed
en graag bereid hun die dreigen te verdwalen,
de juiste weg te tonen.
9 Hij zal de beste weg tonen aan hen
die zich in hun afhankelijkheid tot Hem richten.
10 Als wij Hem dan gehoorzamen,
zal elk pad waarop Hij ons leidt,
getooid zijn met zijn liefdevolle goedheid en waarheid.
11 Maar Here! Ik heb zoveel zonden begaan!
Och, wilt U die vergeven tot eer van uw naam?
12 Waar is de man die ontzag heeft voor de Here?
God zal hem leren hoe hij steeds de juiste keus kan maken.
13 Hij mag leven onder Gods zegen
en zijn kinderen zullen het land in bezit nemen.
14 De vriendschap met God is
voor hen die Hem eerbied bewijzen.
Zij zullen de geheimen, verborgen in zijn beloften, leren kennen.
15 Ik kijk voortdurend op naar de Here om zijn hulp te vragen,
want alleen Hij kan mij redden.
16 Kom toch, Here en toon mij uw genade,
want ik ben eenzaam en diep wanhopig.
17 Mijn zorgen nemen toe,
lost U ze toch voor mij op!
18 Kijk eens wat een zorgen ik heb!
Voelt U mijn pijn?
Vergeef mij mijn zonden!
19 Ziet U hoeveel vijanden ik heb
en hoe hartgrondig zij mij haten?
20 Red mij uit hun handen en bevrijd mij uit hun macht!
Och, laat toch nooit van mij gezegd kunnen worden
dat ik vergeefs op U heb gehoopt!
21 Voorzie mij van godsvrucht en integriteit
alsof het mijn lijfwachten zijn,
want ik verwacht dat U mij zult beschermen.
22 O God, wilt U Israël bevrijden uit alle moeilijkheden?

Dependence on the Lord
Davidic.
1 Lord,[a] I turn to You.[b](A)
2 My God, I trust in You.
Do not let me be disgraced;(B)
do not let my enemies gloat over me.(C)
3 No one who waits for You
will be disgraced;(D)
those who act treacherously without cause
will be disgraced.(E)
4 Make Your ways known to me, Lord;
teach me Your paths.(F)
5 Guide me in Your truth and teach me,(G)
for You are the God of my salvation;(H)
I wait for You all day long.(I)
6 Remember, Lord, Your compassion
and Your faithful love,
for they have existed from antiquity.[c](J)
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth(K)
or my acts of rebellion;(L)
in keeping with Your faithful love, remember me
because of Your goodness, Lord.(M)
8 The Lord is good and upright;(N)
therefore He shows sinners the way.(O)
9 He leads the humble in what is right(P)
and teaches them His way.(Q)
10 All the Lord’s ways show faithful love and truth
to those who keep His covenant and decrees.(R)
11 Because of Your name, Yahweh,
forgive my sin, for it is great.(S)
12 Who is the man who fears the Lord?(T)
He will show him the way he should choose.(U)
13 He will live a good life,
and his descendants will inherit the land.[d](V)
14 The secret counsel of the Lord
is for those who fear Him,
and He reveals His covenant to them.(W)
15 My eyes are always on the Lord,
for He will pull my feet out of the net.(X)
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am alone and afflicted.(Y)
17 The distresses of my heart increase;[e](Z)
bring me out of my sufferings.(AA)
18 Consider my affliction and trouble,(AB)
and take away all my sins.(AC)
19 Consider my enemies; they are numerous,(AD)
and they hate me violently.(AE)
20 Guard me and deliver me;(AF)
do not let me be put to shame,
for I take refuge in You.(AG)
21 May integrity and what is right
watch over me,
for I wait for You.(AH)
22 God, redeem Israel, from all its distresses.(AI)

1 In you, Lord my God,
I put my trust.(A)
2 I trust in you;(B)
do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
3 No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,(C)
but shame will come on those
who are treacherous(D) without cause.
4 Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.(E)
5 Guide me in your truth(F) and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,(G)
and my hope is in you(H) all day long.
6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,(I)
for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth(J)
and my rebellious ways;(K)
according to your love(L) remember me,
for you, Lord, are good.(M)
8 Good and upright(N) is the Lord;
therefore he instructs(O) sinners in his ways.
9 He guides(P) the humble in what is right
and teaches them(Q) his way.
10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful(R)
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.(S)
11 For the sake of your name,(T) Lord,
forgive(U) my iniquity,(V) though it is great.
12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?(W)
He will instruct them in the ways(X) they should choose.[b]
13 They will spend their days in prosperity,(Y)
and their descendants will inherit the land.(Z)
14 The Lord confides(AA) in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known(AB) to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the Lord,(AC)
for only he will release my feet from the snare.(AD)
16 Turn to me(AE) and be gracious to me,(AF)
for I am lonely(AG) and afflicted.
17 Relieve the troubles(AH) of my heart
and free me from my anguish.(AI)
18 Look on my affliction(AJ) and my distress(AK)
and take away all my sins.(AL)
19 See how numerous are my enemies(AM)
and how fiercely they hate me!(AN)
20 Guard my life(AO) and rescue me;(AP)
do not let me be put to shame,(AQ)
for I take refuge(AR) in you.
21 May integrity(AS) and uprightness(AT) protect me,
because my hope, Lord,[c] is in you.(AU)
22 Deliver Israel,(AV) O God,
from all their troubles!
