詩篇 124

因免敵害感頌主恩

124 大衛上行之詩。

1 以色列人要說：「若不是耶和華幫助我們，
2 若不是耶和華幫助我們，當人起來攻擊我們，
3 向我們發怒的時候，就把我們活活地吞了。
4 那時波濤必漫過我們，河水必淹沒我們，
5 狂傲的水必淹沒我們。」
6 耶和華是應當稱頌的！他沒有把我們當野食交給他們吞吃[a]。
7 我們好像雀鳥從捕鳥人的網羅裡逃脫，網羅破裂，我們逃脫了。
8 我們得幫助，是在乎倚靠造天地之耶和華的名。

Psalm 124

A song of ascents. Of David.

1 If the Lord had not been on our side—
    let Israel say(A)—
2 if the Lord had not been on our side
    when people attacked us,
3 they would have swallowed us alive
    when their anger flared against us;
4 the flood(B) would have engulfed us,
    the torrent(C) would have swept over us,
5 the raging waters
    would have swept us away.

6 Praise be to the Lord,
    who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
7 We have escaped like a bird
    from the fowler’s snare;(D)
the snare has been broken,(E)
    and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name(F) of the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven(G) and earth.
