祈求上帝的幫助
大衛的詩歌。
108 上帝啊！我的心堅定不移，
我要用心靈歌頌你。
2 琴瑟啊，彈奏吧，
我要喚醒黎明。
3 耶和華啊，我要在列邦稱謝你，
在列國歌頌你。
4 因為你的慈愛廣及諸天，
你的信實高達穹蒼。
5 上帝啊，
願你得到的尊崇超過諸天，
願你的榮耀覆蓋大地。
6 求你應允我們的禱告，
伸出右手幫助我們，
使你所愛的人獲救。
7 上帝在祂的聖所說：
「我要歡然劃分示劍，丈量疏割谷。
8 基列是我的，瑪拿西也是我的，
以法蓮是我的頭盔，
猶大是我的權杖。
9 摩押是我的洗腳盆，
我要把鞋扔給以東，
我要在非利士高唱凱歌。」
10 誰能帶我進入堅固的城池？
誰能領我到以東？
11 上帝啊，你拋棄了我們嗎？
上帝啊，你不再和我們的軍隊一同出戰了嗎？
12 求你幫助我們攻打仇敵，
因為人的幫助徒然無益。
13 我們依靠上帝才能取勝，
祂必把我們的敵人踩在腳下。

Gud, visa din makt!
1-2 Gud, i mitt inre är jag fullkomligt lugn. Jag vill sjunga och vara glad inför dig.
3 Vakna upp, harpa och lyra! Jag vill börja dagen med sång och spel.
4 Jag vill prisa dig överallt i världen. Inför alla människor vill jag sjunga om dig,
5 för din godhet är större än man kan mäta. Den är högre än himlen. Din trofasthet når upp till skyarna.
6 Din härlighet sträcker sig längre än himlen och den breder ut sig över hela jorden.
7 Hjälp oss och rädda oss, för vi är ju det folk som du älskar.
8 Gud har lovat att hjälpa oss. Han har gett oss sitt heliga löfte. Inte att undra på att jag är glad! Trakten kring Sikem ska jag ge mitt folk, och Suckot-dalen ska jag låta tillfalla dem.
9 Gileads och Manasses områden är fortfarande mina! säger han. Efraim är min hjälm, och Juda är spiran i min hand.
10 Moabs land ska vara en obetydlig tjänare och mot Edom ska jag kasta min sko i triumf, och bland filisteerna ska mitt segerrop höras.
11-12 Vem kan föra mig i triumf in i Edoms starka städer? Kan Gud göra det, han som har förkastat oss? Ja, bara han som överlämnade oss i våra fienders våld kan det!
13 Ja, Herre, hjälp oss mot våra fiender, för den hjälp som människor kan ge är ingenting värd.
14 Med Gud på vår sida ska vi vinna seger, för han kommer att besegra våra fiender.

108 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
3 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

108 O (B)God, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 (C)Awake, lute and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
4 For Your mercy is great above the [a]heavens,
And Your truth reaches to the clouds.
5 (D)Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth;
6 (E)That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with Your right hand, and [b]hear me.
7 God has spoken in His holiness:
“I will rejoice;
I will divide Shechem
And measure out the Valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine;
Ephraim also is the [c]helmet for My head;
(F)Judah is My lawgiver.
9 Moab is My washpot;
Over Edom I will cast My shoe;
Over Philistia I will triumph.”
10 (G)Who will bring me into the strong city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not You, O God, who cast us off?
And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?
12 Give us help from trouble,
For the help of man is useless.
13 (H)Through God we will do valiantly,
For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.

2 Awake, harp and lyre!(E)
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
4 For great is your love,(F) higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness(G) reaches to the skies.(H)
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;(I)
let your glory be over all the earth.(J)
6 Save us and help us with your right hand,(K)
that those you love may be delivered.
7 God has spoken(L) from his sanctuary:(M)
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem(N)
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.(O)
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah(P) is my scepter.
9 Moab(Q) is my washbasin,
on Edom(R) I toss my sandal;
over Philistia(S) I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us
and no longer go out with our armies?(T)
12 Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.(U)
13 With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down(V) our enemies.
