4 我所想念亲爱的弟兄们，你们就是我的喜乐、我的冠冕。所以，亲爱的，你们应当靠着主站立得稳。
劝勉
2 我劝友阿嫡，也劝循都基，要在主里有同样的思想。 3 我真诚的同道啊，我也求你帮助她们。这两个女人，还有革利免和其余的同工，都跟我在福音的事工上一同劳苦，他们的名字都在生命册上。
4 你们要靠着主常常喜乐，我再说，你们要喜乐。 5 要使大家看出你们谦和的心。主已经近了。 6 应当毫无忧虑，只要凡事借着祷告祈求，带着感恩的心，把你们所要的告诉 神。 7 这样， 神所赐超过人能了解的平安，必在基督耶稣里，保守你们的心思意念。
8 最后，弟兄们，凡是真实的、庄重的、公正的、纯洁的、可爱的、声誉好的，无论是甚么美德，甚么称赞，这些事你们都应当思念。 9 你们在我身上所学习、所领受、所听见、所看见的，这些事你们都应当实行；那么，赐平安的 神就必与你们同在。
凡事知足的秘诀
10 我在主里大大地喜乐，因为你们现在又再想起我来；其实你们一向都在想念我，只是没有机会表示。 11 我并不是因为缺乏才这样说：我已经学会了，无论在甚么情况之下都可以知足。 12 我知道怎样处卑贱，也知道怎样处富裕；我已经得了秘诀，无论在任何情况之下，或是饱足，或是饥饿，或是富裕，或是缺乏，都可以知足。 13 我靠着那加给我能力的，凡事都能作。 14 然而，你们一同分担了我的患难，实在是好的。

15 腓立比的弟兄们，你们也知道，在我传福音的初期，离开马其顿的时候，除了你们以外，我没有收过任何教会的供给。 16 我在帖撒罗尼迦的时候，你们还是一而再把我所需用的送来。 17 我并不求礼物，只求你们的果子不断增加，归在你们的帐上。 18 你们所送的我都全数收到了，而且绰绰有余；我已经足够了，因我从以巴弗提收到你们所送的，好象馨香之气，是 神所接纳所喜悦的祭物。 19 我的 神必照他在基督耶稣里荣耀的丰富，满足你们的一切需要。 20 愿荣耀归给我们的父 神，直到永远。阿们。
问候与祝福

4 형제자매 여러분, 나는 여러분을 사랑하고 그리워하고 있습니다. 여러분은 나의 기쁨이요 나의 자랑입니다. 사랑하는 친구들이여, 여러분은 내가 앞서 말한 것처럼 주님 안에서 굳건히 서십시오.
2 유오디아와 순두게 두 자매에게 간청합니다. 주님 안에서 한 마음을 품으십시오. 3 나와 한 멍에를 멘 충실한 나의 협력자인 그대[a]에게도 부탁합니다. 이 자매들을 도와주십시오. 그들은 클레멘트와 그 밖의 나의 협력자들과 더불어, 기쁜 소식을 전하는 일에 나와 함께 많은 수고를 해 왔습니다. 이 사람들의 이름이 모두 생명책에 기록되어 있습니다.
4 주 안에서 언제나 기뻐하십시오. 내가 다시 말합니다. 기뻐하십시오.
5 여러분의 친절한 마음씨가 모든 사람에게 알려지게 하십시오. 주님께서 곧 오실 것입니다. 6 아무것도 걱정하지 마십시오. 모든 일에 있어서 하나님께 기도하고 간절히 청하십시오. 여러분이 바라는 것을 감사하는 마음으로 하나님께 아뢰십시오. 7 그러면 사람으로서는 감히 생각할 수도 없는 하나님의 평화가 그리스도 예수 안에서 여러분의 마음과 생각을 지켜 주실 것입니다.
8 형제자매 여러분, 끝으로 당부합니다. 여러분은 무엇이든지 참되고 고귀하고 바르고 순결하고 사랑스럽고 존경받을 만한 것들에 대하여 생각하십시오. 무엇이든 덕스럽고 칭찬받을 만한 일이 있거든, 그런 것들에 대하여 생각하십시오. 9 그리고 무엇이든지 여러분이 내게서 배우고 받은 것, 내게서 듣고 본 것을 실천하십시오. 그러면 평화의 하나님께서 여러분과 함께하실 것입니다.

10 나를 생각하는 여러분의 마음을 다시 보여 주시니 나는 주 안에서 크게 기뻐합니다. 물론 여러분은 언제나 나를 염려해 주었습니다. 다만 여러분에게는 그것을 나타내 보일 기회가 없었을 뿐입니다. 11 내게 무엇이 필요해서 이런 말을 하는 것은 아닙니다. 나는 어떤 처지에서도 만족하는 법을 배웠습니다. 12 나는 어려운 처지에서 사는 것이 어떤 것인지도 알고, 풍족하게 사는 것이 어떤 것인지도 알고 있습니다. 나는 배부르거나 배고프거나, 넉넉하거나 가난하거나, 그 어떤 경우에도 만족하는 비결을 배웠습니다. 13 나에게 힘을 주시는 분을 통하여 나는 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다.

4 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity
4 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for,(A) my joy and crown, stand firm(B) in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind(C) in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers,(D) whose names are in the book of life.(E)
Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!(F) 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.(G) 6 Do not be anxious about anything,(H) but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(I) 7 And the peace of God,(J) which transcends all understanding,(K) will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.(L) And the God of peace(M) will be with you.
Thanks for Their Gifts
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me.(N) Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content(O) whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(P) whether living in plenty or in want.(Q) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(R)
14 Yet it was good of you to share(S) in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(T) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(U) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(V) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(W) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(X) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(Y) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(Z) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(AA) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs(AB) according to the riches of his glory(AC) in Christ Jesus.
20 To our God and Father(AD) be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(AE)
Final Greetings
21 Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me(AF) send greetings. 22 All God’s people(AG) here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.
