'耶 利 米 哀 歌 3:13-24' not found for the version: Chinese New Testament: Easy-to-Read Version.

13 He has caused (A)the [a]arrows of His quiver
To pierce my [b]loins.
14 I have become the (B)ridicule of all my people—
(C)Their taunting song all the day.
15 (D)He has filled me with bitterness,
He has made me drink wormwood.

16 He has also broken my teeth (E)with gravel,
And [c]covered me with ashes.
17 You have moved my soul far from peace;
I have forgotten [d]prosperity.
18 (F)And I said, “My strength and my hope
Have perished from the Lord.”

19 Remember my affliction and roaming,
(G)The wormwood and the [e]gall.
20 My soul still remembers
And [f]sinks within me.
21 This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have (H)hope.

22 (I)Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions (J)fail not.
23 They are new (K)every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my (L)portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I (M)hope in Him!”

13 He drove into my kidneys
    (A)the arrows of his quiver;
14 (B)I have become the laughingstock of all my people,[a]
    (C)the object of their taunts all day long.
15 (D)He has filled me with bitterness;
    he has sated me with (E)wormwood.

16 (F)He has made my teeth grind on gravel,
    and (G)made me cower in ashes;
17 my soul is bereft of peace;
    I have forgotten what happiness[b] is;
18 (H)so I say, “My endurance has perished;
    so has my hope from the Lord.”

19 (I)Remember my affliction and my wanderings,
    (J)the wormwood and (K)the gall!
20 My soul continually remembers it
    (L)and is bowed down within me.
21 But this I call to mind,
    and (M)therefore I have hope:

22 (N)The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;[c]
    (O)his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new (P)every morning;
    (Q)great is your faithfulness.
24 (R)“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    (S)“therefore I will hope in him.”
