锡安民祈祷自述诸苦
5 耶和华啊，求你记念我们所遭遇的事，观看我们所受的凌辱。 2 我们的产业归于外邦人，我们的房屋归于外路人。 3 我们是无父的孤儿，我们的母亲好像寡妇。 4 我们出钱才得水喝，我们的柴是人卖给我们的。 5 追赶我们的到了我们的颈项上，我们疲乏不得歇息。 6 我们投降埃及人和亚述人，为要得粮吃饱。 7 我们列祖犯罪，而今不在了，我们担当他们的罪孽。 8 奴仆辖制我们，无人救我们脱离他们的手。 9 因为旷野的刀剑，我们冒着险才得粮食。 10 因饥饿燥热，我们的皮肤就黑如炉。 11 敌人在锡安玷污妇人，在犹大的城邑玷污处女。 12 他们吊起首领的手，也不尊敬老人的面。 13 少年人扛磨石，孩童背木柴，都绊跌了。 14 老年人在城门口断绝，少年人不再作乐。 15 我们心中的快乐止息，跳舞变为悲哀。 16 冠冕从我们的头上落下。我们犯罪了！我们有祸了！ 17 这些事我们心里发昏，我们的眼睛昏花。 18 锡安山荒凉，野狗[a]行在其上。
求主使复振兴
19 耶和华啊，你存到永远，你的宝座存到万代。 20 你为何永远忘记我们？为何许久离弃我们？ 21 耶和华啊，求你使我们向你回转，我们便得回转；求你复新我们的日子，像古时一样。 22 你竟全然弃绝我们，向我们大发烈怒！

2 我们的产业转归外人，我们的房屋归给异族。
3 我们成为孤儿，没有父亲，我们的母亲好象寡妇一样。
4 我们所喝的水要用银子买，我们的柴也付代价而得。
5 我们被人追赶，颈项带上重轭；我们疲乏，得不着歇息。
6 我们臣服埃及和亚述，为要得着粮食充饥。
7 我们的先祖犯了罪，现在他们不在了；我们却要担负他们的罪孽。
8 奴仆辖制我们；没有人救我们脱离他们的手。
9 因为旷野有刀剑的威胁，我们要冒生命的危险才得到粮食。
10 我们因饥饿而发烧，我们的皮肤好象火炉一般的热。
11 妇女在锡安被污辱，处女在犹大的城镇被强暴。
12 众领袖被敌人吊起来；长老也不受人尊敬。
13 青年人推磨吃苦；孩童因背木柴而跌倒。
14 众长老不再坐在城门口；青年人不再唱歌作乐。
15 我们心里不再欢乐；我们的舞蹈变为哀哭。
16 冠冕从我们的头上掉下来。我们有祸了；因为我们犯了罪。
17 为了这事，我们心里愁烦；为了这事，我们的眼睛昏花；
18 因为锡安山荒凉，野狗就在山上到处出没。
祈求复兴
19 但耶和华啊，你永远坐着为王；你的宝座代代长存。
20 你为甚么永远忘记我们？为甚么长久离弃我们？
21-22 耶和华啊！除非你真的弃绝我们，
你向我们所发的怒气难收，
不然，求你使我们归向你，好使我们回转过来；
求你更新我们的日子，像古时一样。

5 Remember, (A)O Lord, what has come upon us;
Look, and behold (B)our reproach!
2 (C)Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens,
And our houses to foreigners.
3 We have become orphans and waifs,
Our mothers are like (D)widows.
4 We pay for the water we drink,
And our wood comes at a price.
5 (E)They pursue at our [a]heels;
We labor and have no rest.
6 (F)We have given our hand (G)to the Egyptians
And the (H)Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
7 (I)Our fathers sinned and are no more,
But we bear their iniquities.
8 Servants rule over us;
There is none to deliver us from their hand.
9 We get our bread at the risk of our lives,
Because of the sword in the wilderness.
10 Our skin is hot as an oven,
Because of the fever of famine.
11 They (J)ravished the women in Zion,
The maidens in the cities of Judah.
12 Princes were hung up by their hands,
And elders were not respected.
13 Young men (K)ground at the millstones;
Boys staggered under loads of wood.
14 The elders have ceased gathering at the gate,
And the young men from their (L)music.
15 The joy of our heart has ceased;
Our dance has turned into (M)mourning.
16 (N)The crown has fallen from our head.
Woe to us, for we have sinned!
17 Because of this our heart is faint;
(O)Because of these things our eyes grow dim;
18 Because of Mount Zion which is (P)desolate,
With foxes walking about on it.
19 You, O Lord, (Q)remain forever;
(R)Your throne from generation to generation.
20 (S)Why do You forget us forever,
And forsake us for so long a time?
21 (T)Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be [b]restored;
Renew our days as of old,
22 Unless You have utterly rejected us,
And are very angry with us!

5 SEÑOR, recuerda lo que nos ha sucedido.
Observa y date cuenta de nuestra desgracia.
2 La tierra que heredamos de nuestros antepasados ha sido entregada a extranjeros
y nuestras casas son ocupadas por extraños.
3 Nos hemos quedado huérfanos;
nuestras mamás quedaron viudas.
4 Tenemos que pagar por el agua que bebemos
y pagar también por nuestra leña.
5 Nos persiguen pisando nuestros talones.
Estamos débiles y no encontramos descanso.
6 Hicimos un pacto con Egipto y con Asiria
para tener suficiente comida.
7 Nuestros antepasados pecaron y ahora están muertos,
pero nosotros sufrimos las consecuencias de sus crímenes.
8 Los sirvientes nos gobiernan
y no hay quien nos libere de su poder.
9 Arriesgamos nuestra vida
