14 你的假先知为了你所见的异象,

尽是虚谎和愚昧;

他们为你所得的默示,全是虚谎,是引人走错路的。

15 所有过路的人,都拍掌嘲笑你;

他们嗤笑耶路撒冷的居民,并摇头说:

“被人称为最完美,为全地所喜悦的,就是这城吗?”

16 你所有的仇敌都张开口攻击你,

他们嗤笑你,又咬牙切齿,说:“我们吞灭它了!

这真是我们期待的日子!我们等到了!亲眼看见了!”

14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

15 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

To bring back your captives,
But have envisioned for you false (C)prophecies and delusions.

15 All who [a]pass by (D)clap their hands at you;
They hiss (E)and shake their heads
At the daughter of Jerusalem:
Is this the city that is called
