安慰巴录的话
45 以下是犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，耶利米先知对尼利亚的儿子巴录所说的话（巴录从耶利米口中把这些话写在书卷上）： 2 “巴录啊！耶和华以色列的 神这样说： 3 ‘你曾说：我有祸了！因为耶和华在我的痛苦上加添忧愁。我因唉哼而困乏，得不着安宁。’” 4 耶和华对耶利米说：“你要这样对他说：‘耶和华这样说：看哪！我所建立的，我必拆毁；我所栽种的，我必拔除。我必这样对待全地。 5 你要为自己图谋大事吗？不要图谋！看哪！我必使灾祸降在全人类身上，但无论你到甚么地方去，我必使你捡回自己的性命。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

A Word of Comfort to Baruch
45 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neri′ah, when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoi′akim the son of Josi′ah, king of Judah: 2 “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch: 3 You said, ‘Woe is me! for the Lord has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.’ 4 Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up—that is, the whole land. 5 And do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not; for behold, I am bringing evil upon all flesh, says the Lord; but I will give you your life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.”
