28 当年，就是犹大王西底家登基第四年五月，基遍人押朔的儿子先知哈拿尼雅，在耶和华的殿中当着祭司和众民对我说： 2 “万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我已经折断巴比伦王的轭。 3 二年之内，我要将巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地掠到巴比伦的器皿，就是耶和华殿中的一切器皿，都带回此地。 4 我又要将犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅和被掳到巴比伦去的一切犹大人，带回此地，因为我要折断巴比伦王的轭。这是耶和华说的。”
耶利米谓愿如其言厥后必知孰言应验
5 先知耶利米当着祭司和站在耶和华殿里的众民，对先知哈拿尼雅说： 6 “阿门！愿耶和华如此行，愿耶和华成就你所预言的话，将耶和华殿中的器皿和一切被掳去的人从巴比伦带回此地。 7 然而我向你和众民耳中所要说的话，你应当听。 8 从古以来，在你我以前的先知向多国和大邦说预言，论到争战、灾祸、瘟疫的事。 9 先知预言的平安，到话语成就的时候，人便知道他真是耶和华所差来的。”

10 于是，先知哈拿尼雅将先知耶利米颈项上的轭取下来，折断了。 11 哈拿尼雅又当着众民说：“耶和华如此说：二年之内，我必照样从列国人的颈项上折断巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的轭。”于是先知耶利米就走了。
耶利米预言哈拿尼雅必亡
12 先知哈拿尼雅把先知耶利米颈项上的轭折断以后，耶和华的话临到耶利米说： 13 “你去告诉哈拿尼雅说：‘耶和华如此说：你折断木轭，却换了铁轭。 14 因为万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我已将铁轭加在这些国的颈项上，使他们服侍巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒。他们总要服侍他，我也把田野的走兽给了他。’” 15 于是先知耶利米对先知哈拿尼雅说：“哈拿尼雅啊，你应当听！耶和华并没有差遣你，你竟使这百姓倚靠谎言。 16 所以耶和华如此说：看哪，我要叫你去世，你今年必死，因为你向耶和华说了叛逆的话。” 17 这样，先知哈拿尼雅当年七月间就死了。

28 当年，就是犹大王西底家开始执政的第四年五月，基遍人押朔的儿子哈拿尼雅先知，在耶和华殿中，当着祭司和众民的面前对我说： 2 “万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：‘我已经折断了巴比伦王的轭。 3 在两年之内，我必把耶和华殿中的一切器皿，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地方掠到巴比伦去的，都带回这地方。 4 我也必把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和所有被掳到巴比伦去的犹大人，都带回这地方，因为我必折断巴比伦王的轭。’这是耶和华的宣告。”
5 耶利米先知当着祭司和站在耶和华殿里的众民面前，对哈拿尼雅先知说： 6 “阿们！愿耶和华这样行，愿耶和华使你预言的话应验，把耶和华殿中的器皿和所有被掳的人，都从巴比伦带回这地方来。 7 不过，你应该听我向你和众民耳中所说的这话。 8 自古以来，在你我以前的先知，已经预言有战争、灾祸和瘟疫要临到许多地方和强国。 9 但预言平安的先知，除非他的话应验，人才会承认他确实是耶和华所差遣的先知。”

12 哈拿尼雅先知把耶利米先知颈项上的轭折断了以后，耶和华的话就临到耶利米，说： 13 “你去告诉哈拿尼雅说：‘耶和华这样说：你折断了木轭，却要换来铁轭。 14 因为万军之耶和华以色列的 神这样说：我要把铁轭套在这些国家的颈项上，使他们服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他们要服事他，连田野的走兽，我也交给他了。’” 15 耶利米先知就对哈拿尼雅先知说：“哈拿尼雅啊！你要听，耶和华并没有差遣你，你竟使这人民信靠谎言。 16 因此耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必使你离开人世；你今年一定死，因为你说了悖逆耶和华的话。’” 17 这样，在当年七月，哈拿尼雅先知就死了。

Hananiah’s Falsehood and Doom
28 And (A)it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the (B)fourth year and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of (C)Azur the prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, 2 “Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘I have broken (D)the yoke of the king of Babylon. 3 (E)Within two full years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon (F)took away from this place and carried to Babylon. 4 And I will bring back to this place [a]Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon,’ says the Lord, ‘for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’ ”
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of the Lord, 6 and the prophet Jeremiah said, (G)“Amen! The Lord do so; the Lord perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the Lord’s house and all who were carried away captive, from Babylon to this place. 7 Nevertheless hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people: 8 The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries and great kingdoms—of war and disaster and pestilence. 9 As for (H)the prophet who prophesies of (I)peace, when the word of the prophet comes to pass, the prophet will be known as one whom the Lord has truly sent.”
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the (J)yoke off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it. 11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon (K)from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years.’ ” And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Now the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 13 “Go and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You have broken the yokes of wood, but you have made in their place yokes of iron.” 14 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: (L)“I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. (M)I have given him the beasts of the field also.” ’ ”
15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Hear now, Hananiah, the Lord has not sent you, but (N)you make this people trust in a (O)lie. 16 Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall (P)die, because you have taught (Q)rebellion against the Lord.’ ”
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
