耶利米书 17:3-5

3 山野间的丘坛和亚舍拉神像。因为他们境内的罪恶，我必使敌人掳掠他们的财宝和神庙。 4 他们必失去我赐给他们的产业，被敌人掳到异乡做奴隶，因为他们激起了我的怒火，永难熄灭。”
5 耶和华说：
“信靠世人、倚靠血肉之躯、
背叛耶和华的人该受咒诅！

3 O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.
4 And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

New King James Version
3 O My mountain in the field,
I will give as plunder your wealth, all your treasures,
And your high places of sin within all your borders.
4 And you, even yourself,
Shall let go of your heritage which I gave you;
And I will cause you to serve your enemies
In (A)the land which you do not know;
For (B)you have kindled a fire in My anger which shall burn forever.”
5 Thus says the Lord:
(C)“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes (D)flesh his [a]strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
