30 那麼，我們要怎麼說呢？那原來沒有追求義的外邦人，卻得到了義，就是因信而得的義； 31 而以色列人追求律法的義，卻沒有達到律法的義[a]。 32 這是為什麼呢？因為他們不是本於信，倒像是本於[b]行為去追求的，所以他們就絆倒在那「絆腳的石頭」上。

Israel’s Unbelief
30 What then shall we say?(A) That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;(B) 31 but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness,(C) have not attained their goal.(D) 32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.(E)
