羅馬書 8

在聖靈裏的生活

8 如今，那些在基督耶穌裏的人就不被定罪了。 2 因為賜生命的聖靈的律，在基督耶穌裏從罪和死的律中把你釋放出來。 3 律法既因肉體軟弱而無能為力，　神就差遣自己的兒子成為罪身的樣子，為了對付罪[a]，在肉體中定了罪， 4 為要使律法要求的義，實現在我們這不隨從肉體、只隨從聖靈去行的人身上。 5 因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。 6 體貼肉體就是死；體貼聖靈就是生命和平安[b]。 7 因為體貼肉體就是與　神為敵，對　神的律法不順服，事實上也無法順服。 8 屬肉體的人無法使　神喜悅。

9 如果　神的靈住在你們裏面，你們就不屬肉體，而是屬聖靈了。人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬基督的。 10 基督若在你們裏面，身體就因罪而死，靈卻因義而活。 11 然而，使耶穌從死人中復活的　神的靈若住在你們裏面，那使基督從死人中復活的，也必藉着住在你們裏面的聖靈使你們必死的身體又活過來。

12 弟兄們，這樣看來，我們不是欠肉體的債去順從肉體而活。 13 你們若順從肉體活着，必定會死；若靠着聖靈把身體的惡行處死，就必存活。 14 因為凡被　神的靈引導的都是　神的兒子。 15 你們所領受的不是奴僕的靈，仍舊害怕；所領受的是兒子名分的靈，因此我們呼叫：「阿爸，父！」 16 聖靈自己與我們的靈一同見證我們是　神的兒女。 17 若是兒女，就是後嗣，是　神的後嗣，和基督同作後嗣。如果我們和他一同受苦，是要我們和他一同得榮耀。

將來的榮耀

18 我認為，現在的苦楚，若比起將來要顯示給我們的榮耀，是不足介意的。 19 受造之物切望等候　神的眾子顯出來。 20-21 因為受造之物屈服在虛空之下，不是自己願意，而是因那使它屈服的叫他如此。但受造之物仍然指望從敗壞的轄制下得釋放，得享　神兒女榮耀的自由。 22 我們知道，一切受造之物一同呻吟，一同忍受陣痛，直到如今。 23 不但如此，就是我們這有聖靈作初熟果子的，也是自己內心呻吟，等候得着兒子的名分，就是我們的身體得救贖。 24 我們得救是在於盼望；可是看得見的盼望就不是盼望。誰還去盼望他所看得見的呢？ 25 但我們若盼望那看不見的，我們就耐心等候。

26 同樣，我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助。我們本不知道當怎樣禱告，但是聖靈親自用無可言喻的嘆息替我們祈求。 27 那鑒察人心的知道聖靈所體貼的，因為聖靈照着　神的旨意替聖徒祈求。 28 我們知道，萬事[c]都互相效力，叫愛　神的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。 29 因為他所預知的人，他也預定他們效法他兒子的榜樣，使他兒子在許多弟兄中作長子[d]。 30 他所預定的人，他又召他們來；所召來的人，他又稱他們為義；所稱為義的人，他又叫他們得榮耀。

不能隔絕的愛

31 既是這樣，我們對這些事還要怎麼說呢？　神若幫助我們，誰能抵擋我們呢？ 32 　神既不顧惜自己的兒子，為我們眾人捨了他，豈不也把萬物和他一同白白地賜給我們嗎？ 33 誰能控告　神所揀選的人呢？有　神稱他們為義了。 34 誰能定他們的罪呢？有基督耶穌[e]已經死了，而且復活了，現今在　神的右邊，也替我們祈求。 35 誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是迫害嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？ 36 如經上所記：

「我們為你的緣故終日被殺；
人看我們如將宰的羊。」

37 然而，靠着愛我們的主，在這一切的事上，我們已經得勝有餘了。 38 因為我深信，無論是死，是活，是天使，是掌權的，是有權能的[f]，是現在的事，是將來的事， 39 是高處的，是深處的，是別的受造之物，都不能使我們與　神的愛隔絕，這愛是在我們的主基督耶穌裏的。

Viviendo en el Espíritu

8 Ahora, pues, ninguna condenación hay para los que están en Cristo Jesús, los que no andan conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu. 2 Porque la ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús me ha librado de la ley del pecado y de la muerte. 3 Porque lo que era imposible para la ley, por cuanto era débil por la carne, Dios, enviando a su Hijo en semejanza de carne de pecado y a causa del pecado, condenó al pecado en la carne; 4 para que la justicia de la ley se cumpliese en nosotros, que no andamos conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu. 5 Porque los que son de la carne piensan en las cosas de la carne; pero los que son del Espíritu, en las cosas del Espíritu. 6 Porque el ocuparse de la carne es muerte, pero el ocuparse del Espíritu es vida y paz. 7 Por cuanto los designios de la carne son enemistad contra Dios; porque no se sujetan a la ley de Dios, ni tampoco pueden; 8 y los que viven según la carne no pueden agradar a Dios.

9 Mas vosotros no vivís según la carne, sino según el Espíritu, si es que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros. Y si alguno no tiene el Espíritu de Cristo, no es de él. 10 Pero si Cristo está en vosotros, el cuerpo en verdad está muerto a causa del pecado, mas el espíritu vive a causa de la justicia. 11 Y si el Espíritu de aquel que levantó de los muertos a Jesús mora en vosotros, el que levantó de los muertos a Cristo Jesús vivificará también vuestros cuerpos mortales por su Espíritu que mora en vosotros.

12 Así que, hermanos, deudores somos, no a la carne, para que vivamos conforme a la carne; 13 porque si vivís conforme a la carne, moriréis; mas si por el Espíritu hacéis morir las obras de la carne, viviréis. 14 Porque todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, estos son hijos de Dios. 15 Pues no habéis recibido el espíritu de esclavitud para estar otra vez en temor, sino que habéis recibido el espíritu de adopción, por el cual clamamos: ¡Abba, Padre! 16 El Espíritu mismo da testimonio a nuestro espíritu, de que somos hijos de Dios. 17 Y si hijos, también herederos;(A) herederos de Dios y coherederos con Cristo, si es que padecemos juntamente con él, para que juntamente con él seamos glorificados.

18 Pues tengo por cierto que las aflicciones del tiempo presente no son comparables con la gloria venidera que en nosotros ha de manifestarse. 19 Porque el anhelo ardiente de la creación es el aguardar la manifestación de los hijos de Dios. 20 Porque la creación fue sujetada a vanidad, no por su propia voluntad, sino por causa del que la sujetó en esperanza; 21 porque también la creación misma será libertada de la esclavitud de corrupción, a la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios. 22 Porque sabemos que toda la creación gime a una, y a una está con dolores de parto hasta ahora; 23 y no solo ella, sino que también nosotros mismos, que tenemos las primicias del Espíritu, nosotros también gemimos dentro de nosotros mismos, esperando la adopción, la redención de nuestro cuerpo. 24 Porque en esperanza fuimos salvos; pero la esperanza que se ve, no es esperanza; porque lo que alguno ve, ¿a qué esperarlo? 25 Pero si esperamos lo que no vemos, con paciencia lo aguardamos.

26 Y de igual manera el Espíritu nos ayuda en nuestra debilidad; pues qué hemos de pedir como conviene, no lo sabemos, pero el Espíritu mismo intercede por nosotros con gemidos indecibles. 27 Mas el que escudriña los corazones sabe cuál es la intención del Espíritu, porque conforme a la voluntad de Dios intercede por los santos.

Más que vencedores

28 Y sabemos que a los que aman a Dios, todas las cosas les ayudan a bien, esto es, a los que conforme a su propósito son llamados. 29 Porque a los que antes conoció, también los predestinó para que fuesen hechos conformes a la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos. 30 Y a los que predestinó, a estos también llamó; y a los que llamó, a estos también justificó; y a los que justificó, a estos también glorificó.

31 ¿Qué, pues, diremos a esto? Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿quién contra nosotros? 32 El que no escatimó ni a su propio Hijo, sino que lo entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos dará también con él todas las cosas? 33 ¿Quién acusará a los escogidos de Dios? Dios es el que justifica. 34 ¿Quién es el que condenará? Cristo es el que murió; más aun, el que también resucitó, el que además está a la diestra de Dios, el que también intercede por nosotros. 35 ¿Quién nos separará del amor de Cristo? ¿Tribulación, o angustia, o persecución, o hambre, o desnudez, o peligro, o espada? 36 Como está escrito:

Por causa de ti somos muertos todo el tiempo;

Somos contados como ovejas de matadero.(B)

37 Antes, en todas estas cosas somos más que vencedores por medio de aquel que nos amó. 38 Por lo cual estoy seguro de que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo presente, ni lo por venir, 39 ni lo alto, ni lo profundo, ni ninguna otra cosa creada nos podrá separar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro.

Deliverance from Bondage

8 Therefore there is now no (A)condemnation at all for those who are (B)in (C)Christ Jesus. 2 For (D)the law of the Spirit of life [a]in (E)Christ Jesus (F)has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For (G)what the Law could not do, [b](H)weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in (I)the likeness of [c]sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the (J)requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who (K)do not walk [d]according to the flesh but [e]according to the Spirit. 5 For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on (L)the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, (M)the things of the Spirit. 6 (N)For the mind [f]set on the flesh is (O)death, but the mind [g]set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind [h]set on the flesh is (P)hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are (Q)in the flesh cannot please God.

9 However, you are not (R)in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God (S)dwells in you. But (T)if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 (U)If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is [i]alive because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who (V)raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, (W)He who raised (X)Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [j]through His Spirit who dwells in you.

12 So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— 13 for (Y)if you are living in accord with the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you are (Z)putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are (AA)being led by the Spirit of God, these are (AB)sons and daughters of God. 15 For you (AC)have not received a spirit of slavery [k]leading to fear again, but you (AD)have received [l]a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “(AE)Abba! [m]Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself (AF)testifies with our spirit that we are (AG)children of God, 17 and if children, (AH)heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, (AI)if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (AJ)are not worthy to be compared with the (AK)glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the (AL)eagerly awaiting creation waits for (AM)the revealing of the (AN)sons and daughters of God. 20 For the creation (AO)was subjected to (AP)futility, not willingly, but (AQ)because of Him who subjected it, [n]in hope 21 that (AR)the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation (AS)groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 (AT)And not only that, but also we ourselves, having (AU)the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves (AV)groan within ourselves, (AW)waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, (AX)the redemption of our body. 24 For (AY)in hope we have been saved, but (AZ)hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But (BA)if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

Our Victory in Christ

26 Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for (BB)we do not know what to pray for as we should, but (BC)the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with [o]groanings too deep for words; 27 and (BD)He who searches the hearts knows what (BE)the mind of the Spirit is, because He (BF)intercedes for the [p]saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that [q]God [r]causes (BG)all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are (BH)called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He (BI)foreknew, He also (BJ)predestined to become (BK)conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the (BL)firstborn among many brothers and sisters; 30 and these whom He (BM)predestined, He also (BN)called; and these whom He called, He also (BO)justified; and these whom He justified, He also (BP)glorified.

31 (BQ)What then shall we say to these things? (BR)If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who (BS)did not spare His own Son, but (BT)delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring charges against (BU)God’s elect? (BV)God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who (BW)condemns? Christ Jesus is He who (BX)died, but rather, was [s](BY)raised, who is (BZ)at the right hand of God, who also (CA)intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from (CB)the love of [t]Christ? Will (CC)tribulation, or trouble, or (CD)persecution, or (CE)famine, or (CF)nakedness, or (CG)danger, or sword? 36 Just as it is written:

“(CH)For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly (CI)conquer through (CJ)Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither (CK)death, nor life, nor (CL)angels, nor principalities, nor (CM)things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from (CN)the love of God that is (CO)in Christ Jesus our Lord.
