“I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people;

Hij heeft die mensen niet alleen geroepen uit de Joden, maar ook uit de andere volken. 25 Dat zegt Hij ook door de profeet Hosea: "Ik zal een volk dat mijn volk niet was, 'mijn volk' gaan noemen. En tegen een volk waarvan Ik niet hield, zal Ik 'mijn liefste' zeggen. 26 En waar gezegd is: 'Jullie zijn mijn volk niet', zullen de mensen 'kinderen van de levende God' worden genoemd."
