10 他究竟是怎么被算为义人的呢？是他受割礼以前呢？还是以后呢？不是以后，而是以前。 11 他后来受割礼只不过是一个记号，表明他在受割礼前已经因信而被称为义人了。他因此成为一切未受割礼的信徒之父，使这些人也可以被算为义人。 12 他也做了受割礼之人的父。这些人不只是受了割礼，还跟随我们先祖亚伯拉罕的脚步，效法他在未受割礼时的信心。

10 How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
