10 弟兄们，我心里切切盼望的，并且为以色列人向 神祈求的，是要他们得救。 2 我可以为他们作证，他们对 神有热心，但不是按着真见识； 3 他们既然不明白 神的义，而又企图建立自己的义，就不服 神的义了。 4 因为律法的终极就是基督，使所有信的人都得着义。
求告主名的都必得救
5 论到出于律法的义，摩西写着说：“遵行这些事的人就必因这些事而活。” 6 但那出于信心的义却这样说：“你心里不要说：‘谁要升到天上去呢？’（就是要把基督领下来，） 7 或是说：‘谁要下到深渊去呢？’（就是要把基督从死人中领上来。）” 8 然而那出于信心的义还说甚么呢？
“这话与你相近，
在你口里，也在你心里。”
这话就是我们所传信心的信息。 9 你若口里认耶稣为主，心里信 神使他从死人中复活，就必得救； 10 因为心里相信就必称义，用口承认就必得救。 11 经上说：“所有信靠他的人，必不致失望。” 12 其实并不分犹太人和希腊人，因为大家同有一位主；他厚待所有求告他的人， 13 因为“凡求告主名的，都必得救。”
14 然而，人还没有信他，怎能求告他呢？没有听见他，怎能信他呢？没有人传扬，怎能听见呢？ 15 如果没有蒙差遣，怎能传扬呢？如经上所记：“那些传美事报喜讯的人，他们的脚踪多么美！” 16 但并不是所有的人都顺从福音，因为以赛亚说：“主啊，我们所传的，有谁信呢？” 17 可见信心是从所听的道来的，所听的道是借着基督的话来的。 18 但是我要说，他们没有听见吗？他们的确听见了，如经上所记：
“他们的声音传遍全地，
他们的言语传到地极。”
19 我再说：以色列人真的不明白吗？首先，摩西说：
“我要使你们对那不是子民的生嫉妒，
对那无知的民族起忿怒。”
20 后来，以赛亚也放胆地说：
“没有寻找我的，我让他们找到；
没有求问我的，我向他们显现。”
21 论到以色列人，他却说：
“我整天向那悖逆顶嘴的子民伸开双手。”

10 兄弟姐妹们，我最大的渴望是所有的以色列人都得救，我为此向上帝祈祷。 2 我为他们作证：他们的确非常努力去跟随上帝，但是他们却不知道正确的途径。 3 他们不知道上帝使人们得到认可的途径，于是便企图用自己的途径来得到上帝的认可，所以他们没有接受上帝使人们得到认可的途径。 4 基督结束了摩西律法，以便所有相信他的人，都得到上帝的认可。
5 对于因为服从律被算是正义的这种情况，摩西写道∶“服从这些律法的人将凭它们而活。” 6 对于通过信仰得到上帝认可的这种情况，《经》上说∶“不要问自己，‘谁会上天？’（也就是：“去把基督带下来。“）” 7 “或‘谁会下到阴间去？’ （也就是：“去把基督从死人当中领回来。“）
8 不对，《经》上是怎么说的呢？《经》上说∶“上帝的教导就在你的身边，在你嘴里，在你心里。” [a]这是我们传教给人们的信仰的教导。 9 如果你坦率地说∶“耶稣是主”，心里相信上帝使他从死里复活，那么，你就会得救。 10 因为我们在心里深切地信仰耶稣，从而得到了上帝的认可；因为我们坦率地说我们信仰他，从而得到拯救。
11 《经》上说∶“信仰他的人将不会失望，” 12 经》上这么说，因为犹太人与非犹太人没有任何区别。全人类只有一个共同的主，他将丰富地赐福给所有呼求他的人。 13 因为，“每个相信主的人 [b]都将得到拯救。” [c]
14 但是，在人们能够向主祈求帮助之前，他们首先得信仰主；在他们能够信仰主之前，他们必须先听说过主；要让人们知道主，必须有人去告诉他们； 15 在有人能去告诉他们之前，必须有人受到派遣。正如《经》上所说的那样∶“看到有人来传福音是多么美妙啊！” [d]
16 但是，不是所有的人都接受福音。因为以赛亚说∶“主，谁相信我们传给他们的信息了呢？” 17 因此，信仰来自于听到了福音。当有人传教关于基督时，人们便听到了福音。
18 但是我要问∶“他们真的没有听到过福音吗？”他们当然听到过！正如《经》上所说：
“他们的声音传遍了整个世界，
他们的话语传到了天涯海角。” (A)
19 但是，我要再问∶“以色列人不理解吗？” 他们确实理解了。首先，摩西引用上帝的话说道：
“我要用一个不是真正民族的人使你们妒嫉，
用一个不理解的民族使你们愤怒。” (B)
20 以赛亚引用上帝的话大胆地说道：
“本不想寻找我的人，却找到了我，
并不有求于我的人，
我却把自己显示给他们。” (C)
21 但是关于以色列人，上帝说道∶
“我整天等待他们和我言归于好，
但是他们拒绝服从和跟随我。” (D)

The Person who Believes will be Saved
10 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God about the Jews[a] is that they would be saved. 2 For I can testify on their behalf that they have a zeal for God, but it is not in keeping with full knowledge. 3 For they are ignorant of the righteousness that comes from God while they try to establish their own, and they have not submitted to God’s means to attain[b] righteousness. 4 For the Messiah[c] is the culmination[d] of the Law as far as righteousness is concerned for everyone who believes.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from the Law as follows: “The person who obeys these things will find life by them.”[e] 6 But the righteousness that comes from faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up to heaven?’ (that is, to bring the Messiah[f] down), 7 or ‘Who will go down into the depths?’ (that is, to bring the Messiah[g] back from the dead).”
8 But what does it say? “The message is near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart.”[h] This is the message about faith that we are proclaiming: 9 If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes with his heart and is justified, and declares with his mouth and is saved. 11 The Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will never be ashamed.”[i] 12 There is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him. 13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord[j] will be saved.”[k]
14 How, then, can people[l] call on someone they have not believed? And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching? 15 And how can people[m] preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are[n] those who bring the good news!”[o] 16 But not everyone has obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah asks, “Lord, who has believed our message?”[p] 17 Consequently, faith results from listening, and listening results through the word of the Messiah.[q]
18 But I ask, “Didn’t they hear?” Certainly they did! In fact,
“Their voice has gone out into the whole world,
and their words to the ends of the earth.”[r]
19 Again I ask, “Did Israel not understand?” Moses was the first to say,
“I will make you jealous
by those who are not a nation;
I will make you angry
by a nation that doesn’t understand.”[s]
20 And Isaiah boldly says,
“I was found by those who were not looking for me;
I was revealed to those who were not asking for me.”[t]
21 But about Israel he says,
“All day long I have held out my hands
to a disobedient and rebellious people.”[u]
