16 但不是每一个人都听从福音，因为以赛亚说：“主啊，我们所传的有谁信呢？” 17 可见，信道是从听道来的，听道是从基督的话来的。 18 但我要问，人没有听见吗？当然听见了。
“他们的声音传遍全地；
他们的言语传到地极。”

17 由此可见，听了道，才会信道；有了基督的话，才有道可听。 18 但我要问，以色列人没有听过吗？当然听过。因为
“他们的声音传遍天下，
他们的话语传到地极。”

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news.(A) For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”[a](B) 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message,(C) and the message is heard through the word about Christ.(D) 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:
