14 耶稣和泥开他眼睛的那一天，正是安息日。 15 法利赛人也再次问他是怎么得以看见的。
他说：“他把泥抹在我的眼睛上，我一洗，就能看见了。”
16 法利赛人中的有些人说：“那个人不是从神那里来的，因为他不守安息日。”有些人却说：“一个罪人怎么能行这样的神迹呢？”他们之间就产生了分裂。

14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath.(A) 15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight.(B) “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”
16 Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.”(C)
But others asked, “How can a sinner perform such signs?”(D) So they were divided.(E)

14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

16 Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God,(B) because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” But others were saying, “How can a sinful man(C) perform such signs?” And there was a division(D) among them.
