耶稣复活(A)
20 七日的第一日清早，天还黑的时候，抹大拉的马利亚来到坟墓，看见石头已从坟墓挪开了， 2 就跑来见西门‧彼得和耶稣所爱的那个门徒，对他们说：“有人从坟墓里把主移走了，我们不知道他们把他放在哪里。” 3 彼得和那门徒就出来，往坟墓去。 4 两个人同跑，那门徒比彼得跑得快，先到了坟墓， 5 低头往里看，看见细麻布还放在那里，只是没有进去。 6 西门‧彼得随后也到了，进了坟墓，看见细麻布放在那里， 7 又看见耶稣的裹头巾没有和细麻布放在一起，是另在一处卷着。 8 然后先到坟墓的那门徒也进去，他看见就信了。 9 他们还不明白圣经所说耶稣必须从死人中复活的意思。 10 于是两个门徒回自己的住处去了。

11 马利亚却站在坟墓外面哭。她哭的时候，低头往坟墓里看， 12 看见两个天使穿着白衣，在安放耶稣身体的地方坐着，一个在头，一个在脚。 13 天使对她说：“妇人，你为什么哭？”她对他们说：“因为有人把我主移走了，我不知道他们把他放在哪里。” 14 说了这些话，她转过身来，看见耶稣站在那里，却不知道他是耶稣。 15 耶稣问她：“妇人，你为什么哭？你找谁？”马利亚以为他是看园子的，就对他说：“先生，若是你把他移了去，请告诉我，你把他放在哪里，我去把他移回来。” 16 耶稣对她说：“马利亚。”马利亚转过身来，用希伯来话对他说：“拉波尼！”（“拉波尼”就是老师的意思。） 17 耶稣对她说：“不要拉住我，因为我还没有升上去见我的父。你到我弟兄那里去告诉他们，我要升上去见我的父，也是你们的父，见我的 神，也是你们的 神。” 18 抹大拉的马利亚就向门徒报信：“我已经看见了主。”她又把主对她说的话告诉他们。
向门徒显现(C)
19 那日（就是七日的第一日）晚上，门徒因怕犹太人，所在的地方门都关了。耶稣来，站在当中，对他们说：“愿你们平安！” 20 说了这话，他把手和肋旁给他们看。门徒一看见主就喜乐了。 21 于是耶稣又对他们说：“愿你们平安！父怎样差遣了我，我也照样差遣你们。” 22 说了这话，他向他们吹一口气，说：“领受圣灵吧！ 23 你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得赦免；你们不赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就不得赦免。”
耶稣和多马
24 那十二使徒中，有个叫低土马的多马，耶稣来的时候，他没有和他们在一起。 25 其他的门徒就对他说：“我们已经看见主了。”多马却对他们说：“除非我看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，用我的手探入他的肋旁，我绝不信。”
26 过了八日，门徒又在屋里，多马也和他们在一起。门都关了，耶稣来，站在当中，说：“愿你们平安！” 27 然后他对多马说：“把你的指头伸到这里来，看看我的手；把你的手伸过来，探入我的肋旁。不要疑惑，总要信！” 28 多马回答，对他说：“我的主！我的 神！” 29 耶稣对他说：“你因为看见了我才信吗？那没有看见却信的有福了。”
本书的目的
30 耶稣在他门徒面前另外行了许多神迹，没有记录在这书上。 31 但记载这些事是要使你们信[a]耶稣是基督，是 神的儿子，并且使你们信他，好因着他的名得生命。

Gesù è risorto!
20 Domenica mattina presto, quando era ancora buio, Maria Maddalena si recò alla tomba e vide che la pietra era stata spostata dallʼentrata.
2 Allora, di corsa, andò da Simon Pietro e dal discepolo, quello che Gesù amava, e disse: «Hanno portato via il corpo del Signore dalla tomba e non so dove lʼabbiano messo!»
3-4 Insieme ci precipitammo alla tomba. Io fui più svelto di Pietro e arrivai per primo. 5 Mi chinai a guardare dentro e vidi le bende per terra, però non entrai. 6 Poi arrivò anche Simon Pietro, ed entrò nella tomba. Anche lui vide le bende per terra 7 e sʼaccorse che il sudario, che era sulla testa di Gesù, era stato ripiegato e messo lì da una parte. 8 Allora anche lʼaltro discepolo entrò nella tomba: vide e credette che Gesù era risorto! 9 Fino a quel momento infatti non avevano ancora capito ciò che diceva la Scrittura, e cioè che sarebbe risorto.
10 Se ne tornarono di nuovo verso casa. 11 Nel frattempo, Maria Maddalena era tornata alla tomba e se ne stava fuori a piangere. 12 Mentre piangeva, si chinò e guardò dentro il sepolcro, ed ecco che vide due angeli. Erano vestiti di bianco e sedevano uno a capo e lʼaltro ai piedi del posto dovʼera stato messo il corpo di Gesù.
13 «Perché piangi?» le chiesero gli angeli.
«Perché hanno portato via il mio Signore», rispose Maria, «e non so dove lʼabbiano messo».
14 Poi si voltò e scorse qualcuno alle sue spalle. Era Gesù, ma Maria non lo riconobbe.
15 «Perché piangi?» le chiese. «Chi stai cercando?»
Maria Maddalena pensò che fosse il giardiniere. «Signore», disse fra le lacrime, «se lʼhai portato via tu, dimmi dove lʼhai messo e andrò a prenderlo!»
16 Allora Gesù la chiamò: «Maria!» Lei si voltò verso di lui. «Maestro!» esclamò.
17 «Non fermarti a me», lʼavvertì Gesù, «perché non sono ancora salito al Padre. Ma vaʼ a cercare i miei fratelli e diʼ loro che io salgo al Padre mio, Padre vostro, al Dio mio, Dio vostro».
18 Maria Maddalena corse dai discepoli. «Ho visto il Signore!» annunciò, e riferì tutte le parole di Gesù.
19-20 Quella sera stessa i discepoli si riunirono, dopo aver sbarrato ben bene le porte, per paura dei capi giudei. Ed ecco che Gesù apparve in mezzo a loro. «Pace a voi!» li salutò, poi mostrò loro le mani e il fianco. Che gioia per i discepoli rivedere il loro Signore!
21 Gesù ripeté: «Pace a voi! Come il Padre ha mandato me, anchʼio mando voi». 22 Poi soffiò su di loro, dicendo: «Ricevete lo Spirito Santo. 23 A chi perdonerete i peccati, saranno perdonati. A chi non li perdonerete, non saranno perdonati».
Tommaso
24 Il giorno in cui venne Gesù, non era presente un discepolo, Tommaso, detto «il Gemello». 25 Quando gli altri gli dissero: «Abbiamo visto il Signore», egli rispose: «Se non vedo nelle sue mani le ferite dei chiodi e non ci metto dentro il mio dito; e se non tocco con la mano il suo fianco, non ci crederò!»
26 Otto giorni dopo, i discepoli si trovarono di nuovo insieme e, questa volta, cʼera anche Tommaso. Le porte erano sbarrate, ma, proprio comʼera già successo, ecco che Gesù apparve in piedi in mezzo a loro. «Pace a voi!» li salutò. 27 Poi si rivolse a Tommaso e gli disse: «Allora, Tommaso, metti pure il dito nelle mie mani e la tua mano nel mio fianco. Non essere più incredulo, ma credi!»
28 «Mio Signore e mio Dio!» balbettò Tommaso.
29 Allora Gesù gli disse: «Tu credi, perché mi hai visto. Beati quelli che pur non avendo visto crederanno!»
30-31 Gesù fece alla presenza dei discepoli molti altri miracoli, che non sono stati descritti in questo libro; ma questi fatti sono stati descritti, perché crediate che Gesù è il Messia, Figlio di Dio e, credendo in lui, abbiate la vita nel suo nome.

The Empty Tomb(A)
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene(B) went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.(C) 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved,(D) and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”(E)
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.(F) 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in(G) at the strips of linen(H) lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.(I) The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first,(J) also went inside. He saw and believed. 9 (They still did not understand from Scripture(K) that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)(L) 10 Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.
Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb(M) 12 and saw two angels in white,(N) seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”(O)
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”(P) 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,(Q) but she did not realize that it was Jesus.(R)
15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?(S) Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic,(T) “Rabboni!”(U) (which means “Teacher”).
17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers(V) and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father(W) and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
18 Mary Magdalene(X) went to the disciples(Y) with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders,(Z) Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(AA) be with you!”(AB) 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side.(AC) The disciples were overjoyed(AD) when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!(AE) As the Father has sent me,(AF) I am sending you.”(AG) 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.(AH) 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”(AI)
Jesus Appears to Thomas
24 Now Thomas(AJ) (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side,(AK) I will not believe.”(AL)
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(AM) be with you!”(AN) 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(AO)
28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;(AP) blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”(AQ)
The Purpose of John’s Gospel
30 Jesus performed many other signs(AR) in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.(AS) 31 But these are written that you may believe[b](AT) that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God,(AU) and that by believing you may have life in his name.(AV)
