20 周日清晨，天还未亮，抹大拉的玛丽亚就来到坟墓前，发现封住墓口的石头已经挪开了。 2 她赶快跑去告诉西门·彼得和耶稣所爱的那个门徒，说：“有人把主从坟墓里搬走了，不知放到哪里去了。”
3 彼得和那个门徒听了就出去，往坟墓那边跑。 4 两个人一起跑，但那个门徒比彼得跑得快，所以先到了坟墓。 5 他并没有进去，只是探头往里看，看见细麻布还在那里。 6 西门·彼得随后也来了，他进到里边，看到细麻布放在那里， 7 耶稣的裹头巾则卷着放在另一处，没有和细麻布放在一起。 8 先到的那个门徒也进来了，看见这种情形，就信了。 9 因为他们还不明白圣经上有关耶稣必要从死里复活的话。 10 然后，他们各自回家去了。
11 玛丽亚却站在坟墓外面哭泣，边哭边往坟墓里面看， 12 看见两个穿着白衣的天使分别坐在原来安放耶稣遗体的头脚两端。
13 天使对她说：“妇人，你为什么哭呢？”
她说：“有人把我的主搬走了，不知道放在什么地方。” 14 说完，她转过身来，看见耶稣站在那里，但她不知道那就是耶稣。
15 耶稣问她：“妇人，你为什么哭？你在找谁？”
玛丽亚还以为祂是园丁，就说：“先生，如果是你把祂搬走了，请告诉我放在哪里了，我好搬回来。”
16 耶稣说：“玛丽亚。”
玛丽亚立即转过头来用希伯来话对祂说：“拉波尼！”拉波尼的意思是老师。
17 耶稣说：“不要拉着我，我还没有升到父那里。你先去找我的众弟兄，告诉他们我要升天去见我的父，也是你们的父；去见我的上帝，也是你们的上帝。”
18 抹大拉的玛丽亚就去向门徒报讯，说：“我看见主了！”又把主对她说的话告诉门徒。
向门徒显现
19 当天晚上，即周日晚上，门徒因为害怕犹太人，把房门都关上了。忽然，耶稣来了，站在他们当中，对他们说：“愿你们平安！” 20 说完，让他们看祂的手和肋旁。门徒看见主，十分欢喜。
21 耶稣又说：“愿你们平安！父怎样差遣我，我也照样差遣你们。” 22 然后祂向他们吹了一口气，说：“你们领受圣灵吧！ 23 你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得到赦免；你们不赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就得不到赦免。”
向多马显现
24 耶稣显现的时候，十二个门徒中绰号“双胞胎”的多马不在场。 25 其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”
26 过了八天，门徒又聚在一起，多马也在，门都关着。突然耶稣来了，站在他们当中说：“愿你们平安！” 27 然后对多马说：“把你的指头放在我手上摸摸看，伸出手来摸摸我的肋旁。不要怀疑，要信！”
28 多马回答说：“我的主，我的上帝！”
29 耶稣说：“你看见我才信，那些没有看见就信的人有福了。”
30 耶稣在门徒面前还行了许多神迹，只是没有记在这本书里。 31 而记载这些事的目的是为了使你们相信耶稣就是基督，是上帝的儿子，并且使你们这些信祂的人可以靠祂的名得到生命。

Den tomma graven
20 (A) Tidigt den första veckodagen[a], medan det ännu var mörkt, kom Maria Magdalena ut till graven och fick se att stenen var borta från graven. 2 Hon sprang därifrån och kom till Simon Petrus och den andre lärjungen, den som Jesus älskade, och sade till dem: "De har tagit bort Herren från graven, och vi vet inte var de har lagt honom!"
3 Då rusade Petrus och den andre lärjungen ut mot graven. 4 Båda sprang på samma gång, men den andre lärjungen sprang fortare än Petrus och kom först fram till graven. 5 Han lutade sig in och såg linnebindlarna ligga där, men han gick inte in. 6 Strax efter honom kom Simon Petrus. Han gick in i graven och såg också linnebindlarna ligga där, 7 och duken som hade täckt huvudet. Den låg inte tillsammans med bindlarna utan hopvikt på ett ställe för sig.
8 Då gick även den andre lärjungen in, han som hade kommit fram till graven först, och han såg och trodde. 9 Tidigare hade de nämligen inte förstått Skriftens ord att han måste uppstå från de döda. 10 Därefter gick lärjungarna hem igen.
Jesus visar sig för Maria Magdalena
11 Men Maria stod utanför graven och grät. När hon gråtande lutade sig in i graven, 12 fick hon se två änglar i vita kläder sitta där Jesu kropp hade legat, den ene vid huvudändan och den andre vid fotändan. 13 De frågade henne: "Kvinna, varför gråter du?" Hon svarade: "De har tagit min Herre, och jag vet inte var de har lagt honom."
14 När hon hade sagt det, vände hon sig om och såg Jesus stå där, men hon förstod inte att det var han. 15 Jesus frågade henne: "Kvinna, varför gråter du? Vem söker du?" Hon trodde att det var trädgårdsmästaren och sade till honom: "Herre, om det är du som har burit bort honom, så säg var du har lagt honom så att jag kan hämta honom."
16 Jesus sade till henne: "Maria." Då vände hon sig om och sade till honom på hebreiska: "Rabbuni!" – det betyder lärare. 17 (B) Jesus sade till henne: "Rör mig inte[b], för jag har inte stigit upp till Fadern än. Men gå till mina bröder och säg till dem att jag stiger upp till min Far och er Far, till min Gud och er Gud." 18 Maria Magdalena gick då och berättade för lärjungarna att hon hade sett Herren och att han hade sagt detta till henne.
Jesus visar sig för sina lärjungar
19 (C) På kvällen samma dag, den första veckodagen, var lärjungarna samlade bakom låsta dörrar av rädsla för judarna. Då kom Jesus och stod mitt ibland dem och sade: "Frid vare med er!"[c] 20 När han hade sagt detta visade han dem sina händer och sin sida. Och lärjungarna blev glada när de såg Herren.
21 (D) Jesus sade än en gång till dem: "Frid vare med er! Som Fadern har sänt mig sänder jag er." 22 Sedan han sagt detta, andades han på dem och sade: "Ta emot den helige Ande! 23 (E) Om ni förlåter någon hans synder så är de förlåtna, och om ni binder någon i hans synder så är han bunden."
Den uppståndne och Tomas
24 Tomas, en av de tolv, han som kallades Tvillingen, hade inte varit med de andra när Jesus kom. 25 De andra lärjungarna sade nu till honom: "Vi har sett Herren!" Men han svarade dem: "Om jag inte får se spikhålen i hans händer och sticka mitt finger i spikhålen och min hand i hans sida, så kan jag inte tro."
26 Åtta dagar senare[d] var hans lärjungar samlade igen där inne, och nu var Tomas med dem. Då kom Jesus, medan dörrarna var låsta, och stod mitt ibland dem och sade: "Frid vare med er!" 27 Sedan sade han till Tomas: "Kom med ditt finger och se mina händer, kom med din hand och stick den i min sida. Och tvivla inte, utan tro!" 28 Tomas svarade honom: "Min Herre och min Gud!" 29 (F) Jesus sade till honom: "Du tror därför att du har sett mig. Saliga är de som inte har sett men ändå tror."
30 (G) Många andra tecken som inte är nerskrivna i denna bok gjorde Jesus inför sina lärjungar. 31 (H) Men dessa har blivit nerskrivna för att ni ska tro att Jesus är Messias, Guds Son, och för att ni genom tron ska ha liv i hans namn.

The Empty Tomb(A)
20 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene(B) went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.(C) 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved,(D) and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”(E)
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.(F) 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in(G) at the strips of linen(H) lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.(I) The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first,(J) also went inside. He saw and believed. 9 (They still did not understand from Scripture(K) that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)(L) 10 Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.

11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb(M) 12 and saw two angels in white,(N) seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”(O)
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”(P) 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,(Q) but she did not realize that it was Jesus.(R)
15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?(S) Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic,(T) “Rabboni!”(U) (which means “Teacher”).
17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers(V) and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father(W) and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
18 Mary Magdalene(X) went to the disciples(Y) with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders,(Z) Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(AA) be with you!”(AB) 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side.(AC) The disciples were overjoyed(AD) when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!(AE) As the Father has sent me,(AF) I am sending you.”(AG) 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.(AH) 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”(AI)
Jesus Appears to Thomas
24 Now Thomas(AJ) (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side,(AK) I will not believe.”(AL)
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(AM) be with you!”(AN) 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(AO)
28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed;(AP) blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”(AQ)
The Purpose of John’s Gospel
30 Jesus performed many other signs(AR) in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.(AS) 31 But these are written that you may believe[b](AT) that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God,(AU) and that by believing you may have life in his name.(AV)

20 Am ersten Tage aber der Woche kommt Maria Magdalena früh, als es noch finster war, zur Gruft und sieht den Stein von der Gruft hinweggenommen. 2 Da läuft sie und kommt zu Simon Petrus und zu dem andern Jünger, den Jesus lieb hatte, und spricht zu ihnen: Sie haben den Herrn aus der Gruft genommen, und wir wissen nicht, wo sie ihn hingelegt haben!
3 Nun gingen Petrus und der andere Jünger hinaus und begaben sich zu der Gruft. 4 Die beiden liefen miteinander, und der andere Jünger lief voraus, schneller als Petrus, und kam zuerst zur Gruft, 5 bückte sich hinein und sieht die leinenen Tücher daliegen, ging jedoch nicht hinein. 6 Da kommt Simon Petrus, der ihm folgte, und geht in die Gruft hinein und sieht die Tücher daliegen 7 und das Schweißtuch, das um sein Haupt gebunden war, nicht bei den Tüchern liegen, sondern für sich zusammengewickelt an einem besondern Ort. 8 Darauf ging auch der andere Jünger hinein, der zuerst zur Gruft gekommen war, und sah und glaubte. 9 Denn sie verstanden die Schrift noch nicht, daß er von den Toten auferstehen müsse. 10 Nun gingen die Jünger wieder heim.

11 Maria aber stand draußen vor der Gruft und weinte. Wie sie nun weinte, bückte sie sich in die Gruft 12 und sieht zwei Engel in weißen Kleidern sitzen, den einen zu den Häupten, den andern zu den Füßen, wo der Leib Jesu gelegen hatte. 13 Und diese sprechen zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Sie spricht zu ihnen: Sie haben meinen Herrn weggenommen, und ich weiß nicht, wo sie ihn hingelegt haben! 14 Und als sie das gesagt, wendet sie sich um und sieht Jesus dastehen und weiß nicht, daß es Jesus ist. 15 Jesus spricht zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Wen suchst du? Sie meint, es sei der Gärtner, und spricht zu ihm: Herr, hast du ihn weggetragen, so sage mir, wo du ihn hingelegt hast, so will ich ihn holen!
16 Jesus spricht zu ihr: Maria! Da wendet sie sich um und spricht zu ihm: Rabbuni! (das heißt: Meister!) 17 Jesus spricht zu ihr: Rühre mich nicht an, denn ich bin noch nicht aufgefahren zu meinem Vater. Gehe aber zu meinen Brüdern und sage ihnen: Ich fahre auf zu meinem Vater und eurem Vater, zu meinem Gott und eurem Gott. 18 Da kommt Maria Magdalena und verkündigt den Jüngern, daß sie den Herrn gesehen und daß er solches zu ihr gesprochen habe.

19 Als es nun an jenem ersten Wochentag Abend geworden war und die Türen verschlossen waren an dem Ort, wo sich die Jünger versammelt hatten, aus Furcht vor den Juden, kam Jesus und trat mitten unter sie und spricht zu ihnen: Friede sei mit euch! 20 Und als er das gesagt hatte, zeigte er ihnen seine Hände und seine Seite. Da wurden die Jünger froh, als sie den Herrn sahen.
21 Da sprach Jesus wiederum zu ihnen: Friede sei mit euch! Gleichwie mich der Vater gesandt hat, so sende ich euch. 22 Und nachdem er das gesagt, hauchte er sie an und sprach zu ihnen: Empfanget heiligen Geist! 23 Welchen ihr die Sünden vergebet, denen sind sie vergeben; welchen ihr sie behaltet, denen sind sie behalten.

24 Thomas aber, einer von den Zwölfen, der Zwilling genannt wird, war nicht bei ihnen, als Jesus kam. 25 Da sagten ihm die andern Jünger: Wir haben den Herrn gesehen! Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wenn ich nicht an seinen Händen das Nägelmal sehe und lege meinen Finger in das Nägelmal und lege meine Hand in seine Seite, so glaube ich es nicht!
26 Und nach acht Tagen waren seine Jünger wiederum dort und Thomas bei ihnen. Da kommt Jesus, als die Türen verschlossen waren, und tritt mitten unter sie und spricht: Friede sei mit euch! 27 Dann spricht er zu Thomas: Reiche deinen Finger her und siehe meine Hände, und reiche deine Hand her und lege sie in meine Seite, und sei nicht ungläubig, sondern gläubig! 28 Thomas antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Mein Herr und mein Gott! 29 Jesus spricht zu ihm: Weil du mich gesehen hast, Thomas, so glaubst du; selig sind, die nicht sehen und doch glauben.
Schlußfolgerungen und Zielsetzung des Evangeliums
30 Noch viele andere Zeichen tat Jesus vor seinen Jüngern, die in diesem Buche nicht geschrieben sind. 31 Diese aber sind geschrieben, damit ihr glaubet, daß Jesus der Christus, der Sohn Gottes ist, und daß ihr durch den Glauben Leben habet in seinem Namen

20 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
