变水为酒
2 第三天，在加利利的迦拿有人举办婚宴，耶稣的母亲在那里。 2 耶稣和门徒也被邀请去赴宴。 3 酒喝完了，耶稣的母亲就对祂说：“他们没有酒了。” 4 耶稣说：“妇人，这跟你我有什么相干[a]？我的时候还没有到。” 5 祂母亲对仆人说：“祂叫你们做什么，你们就做什么。” 6 那里有六口犹太人用来行洁净礼仪的石缸，每口可以盛约一百升水。
7 耶稣对仆人说：“把缸倒满水！”他们就往缸里倒水，一直满到缸口。 8 耶稣又说：“现在可以舀些出来，送给宴席总管。”他们就送了去。 9 那些仆人知道这酒是怎样来的，宴席总管却不知道。他尝过那水变的酒后，便把新郎叫来， 10 对他说：“人们都是先拿好酒款待客人，等客人喝够了，才把次等的拿出来，你却把好酒留到现在！” 11 这是耶稣第一次行神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，彰显了祂的荣耀，门徒都信了祂。
12 这事以后，耶稣和祂的母亲、弟弟并门徒一起去迦百农住了几天。
洁净圣殿
13 犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣便上耶路撒冷去。 14 祂看见圣殿区有人在卖牛羊和鸽子，还有人在兑换银币， 15 就用绳索做成鞭子把牛羊赶出去，倒掉钱商的银币，推翻他们的桌子， 16 又对卖鸽子的说：“把这些东西拿出去！不要把我父的殿当作市场。” 17 祂的门徒想起圣经上说：“我对你的殿充满炙热的爱。”
18 当时，犹太人质问祂：“你给我们显什么神迹来证明你有权这样做？”
19 耶稣回答说：“你们拆毁这座殿，我三天之内会把它重建起来。”
20 他们说：“这座殿用了四十六年才建成，你三天之内就要把它重建起来吗？” 21 其实耶稣说的殿是指自己的身体， 22 所以等到祂从死里复活以后，祂的门徒想起这句话，就相信了圣经和耶稣所传的道。
23 耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节期间，许多人看见祂行的神迹，就信了祂。 24 耶稣却不信任他们，因为祂洞悉万人。 25 不用别人告诉祂，祂也深知人的内心。

2 第三天，加利利的迦拿城里，有人在举行婚礼。耶稣的母亲也在那里， 2 耶稣和他的门徒们也应邀出席。 3 酒都喝光了，耶稣的母亲对他说∶“他们没酒了。”
4 耶稣对她说∶“亲爱的妇人，您为什么告诉我呢？我的时刻还没到呢！”
5 他母亲吩咐仆人们说∶“他叫你们做什么，你们就做什么。”
6 有六口水缸摆在那里，是犹太人在洁净仪式 [a]上用的那种缸，每缸能装大约八十或一百二十升水。
7 耶稣对仆人们说∶“把缸灌满水。”他们便把水缸灌得满满的。
8 耶稣又吩咐仆人说∶“你们舀一些酒拿给管筵席的。”
于是，仆人就把它送了过去， 9 管筵席的尝了尝那已经变成酒的水。（他不知道这酒的来历，只有舀酒的仆人们知道。）管筵席的叫来新郎， 10 对他说∶“人们都是先上最好的酒，等客人喝醉了，然后才上次酒，但是你却把最好的酒留到最后！”
11 这是耶稣在加利利迦拿时，显示的第一个奇迹，他显示出了他的荣耀，门徒们都信仰他了。
耶稣在大殿
12 婚礼之后，耶稣和他母亲、兄弟们，以及门徒们一起到迦百农去了。他们在那里住了几天。 13 快到犹太人的逾越节时，耶稣便启程前往耶路撒冷。 14 在大殿院里，他看到人们在那里卖牛、羊、鸽子，还有一些人坐在桌边为人们兑换钱币， 15 所以，耶稣就用绳子做成一条鞭子，把他们连牛、羊一起都赶了出去，还掀翻了兑换钱币的人的桌子，把钱币撒了一地。 16 然后他又对卖鸽子的人说∶“把这些东西全都拿出去！不要把我父的大殿当成集市！”
17 他的门徒想起《经》上的话：
“对您的大殿的热情，
将把我吞噬掉。” (A)
18 犹太人对耶稣说∶“你用什么奇迹向我们显示你有权做这些事情呢？”
19 耶稣对他们说∶“拆毁这座大殿，我将在三天之内把它重建起来。”
20 犹太人说∶“我们花了四十六年才建成它，你三天之内就能重建它吗？”
21 其实，耶稣所说的大殿，是指他自己的身体。 22 耶稣复活后，他的门徒们想起了他说过的话，他们便相信了《经》和耶稣的话。
23 耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节期间，许多人看到耶稣所行的奇迹，就都信仰了他。 24 但是耶稣却信不过他们， 25 因为他了解人的内心，他不需要任何人告诉他关于人类的事情，因为他知道人类的内心。

3 Und da es an Wein gebrach, spricht die Mutter Jesu zu ihm: Sie haben nicht Wein.
4 Jesus spricht zu ihr: Weib, was habe ich mit dir zu schaffen? Meine Stunde ist noch nicht gekommen.
5 Seine Mutter spricht zu den Dienern: Was er euch sagt, das tut.
6 Es waren aber allda sechs steinerne Wasserkrüge gesetzt nach der Weise der jüdischen Reinigung, und ging in je einen zwei oder drei Maß.
7 Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Füllet die Wasserkrüge mit Wasser! Und sie füllten sie bis obenan.
8 Und er spricht zu ihnen: Schöpfet nun und bringet's dem Speisemeister! Und sie brachten's.
9 Als aber der Speisemeister kostete den Wein, der Wasser gewesen war, und wußte nicht, woher er kam (die Diener aber wußten's, die das Wasser geschöpft hatten), ruft der Speisemeister den Bräutigam
10 und spricht zu ihm: Jedermann gibt zum ersten guten Wein, und wenn sie trunken geworden sind, alsdann den geringeren; du hast den guten Wein bisher behalten.
11 Das ist das erste Zeichen, das Jesus tat, geschehen zu Kana in Galiläa, und offenbarte seine Herrlichkeit. Und seine Jünger glaubten an ihn.
12 Darnach zog er hinab gen Kapernaum, er, seine Mutter, seine Brüder und seine Jünger; und sie blieben nicht lange daselbst.
13 Und der Juden Ostern war nahe, und Jesus zog hinauf gen Jerusalem.
14 Und er fand im Tempel sitzen, die da Ochsen, Schafe und Tauben feil hatten, und die Wechsler.
15 Und er machte eine Geißel aus Stricken und trieb sie alle zum Tempel hinaus samt den Schafen und Ochsen und verschüttete den Wechslern das Geld und stieß die Tische um
16 und sprach zu denen, die die Tauben feil hatten: tragt das von dannen und macht nicht meines Vaters Haus zum Kaufhause!
17 Seine Jünger aber gedachten daran, daß geschrieben steht: Der Eifer um dein Haus hat mich gefressen.
18 Da antworteten nun die Juden und sprachen zu ihm: Was zeigst du uns für ein Zeichen, daß du solches tun mögest?
19 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Brechet diesen Tempel, und am dritten Tage will ich ihn aufrichten.
20 Da sprachen die Juden: Dieser Tempel ist in Jahren erbaut; und du willst ihn in drei Tagen aufrichten?
21 (Er aber redete von dem Tempel seines Leibes.
22 Da er nun auferstanden war von den Toten, gedachten seine Jünger daran, daß er dies gesagt hatte, und glaubten der Schrift und der Rede, die Jesus gesagt hatte.)
23 Als er aber zu Jerusalem war am Osterfest, glaubten viele an seinen Namen, da sie die Zeichen sahen, die er tat.
24 Aber Jesus vertraute sich ihnen nicht; denn er kannte sie alle
25 und bedurfte nicht, daß jemand Zeugnis gäbe von einem Menschen; denn er wußte wohl, was im Menschen war.

2 And Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the weddings.
3 And when wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have not wine.
4 And Jesus saith to her, What to me and to thee, woman? mine hour came not yet.
5 His mother saith to the ministers, Whatever thing he saith to you, do ye.
6 And there were set six stone cans, after the cleansing of the Jews, holding each two or three metretes. [Forsooth there were put six stone pots, after the cleansing of Jews, taking each two or three measures.]
7 And Jesus saith to them, Fill ye the pots with water. And they filled them, up to the mouth. [Jesus saith to them, Fill ye the pots with water. And they filled them unto the highest part.]
8 And Jesus said to them, Draw ye now, and bear ye to the master of the feast[a]. And they bare.
9 And when the master of the feast had tasted the water made wine, and knew not whereof it was, but the ministers knew that drew the water[b], the master of the feast calleth the spouse,
10 and saith to him, Each man setteth first good wine, and when men be filled, then that that is worse; but thou hast kept the good wine into this time. 11 Jesus did this the beginning of signs in the Cana of Galilee, and showed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
12 After these things he came down to Capernaum, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and they dwelled there not many days [and they dwelt there not many days].
13 And the pask of Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And he found in the temple men selling oxen, and sheep, and culvers, and [money-]changers sitting.
15 And when he had made as it were a scourge of small cords, he drove out all of the temple, and oxen, and sheep[c]; and he shedded [out] the money of changers, and turned upside-down the boards.
16 And he said to them that sold culvers, Take away from hence these things, and do not ye make the house of my Father an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples had mind, for it was written, The fervent love of thine house hath eaten me [The zeal, or fervour of love, of thine house hath eaten me].
18 Therefore the Jews answered, and said to him, What token showest thou to us [What sign, or token, showest thou to us], that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered, and said to them, Undo ye this temple, and in three days I shall raise it.
20 Therefore the Jews said to him, In forty and six years this temple was builded, and shalt thou in three days raise it [In forty and six years this temple is built, and thou in three days shalt raise it]?
21 But he said of the temple of his body.
22 Therefore when he was risen from death, his disciples had mind, that he said these things of his body [Therefore when he had risen from dead men, his disciples had mind, for he said this thing]; and they believed to the scripture, and to the word that Jesus said.
23 And when Jesus was at Jerusalem in pask, in the feast day, many believed in his name, seeing his signs that he did [seeing the signs of him which he did].
24 But Jesus trusted not himself to them, for he knew all men;
25 and for it was not need to him, that any man should bear witnessing of man, for he knew, what was in man.
