⁹總管嘗了那水變的酒，不知道是從哪裡來的，只有舀水的僕人知道。總管就叫新郎來， ¹⁰對他說：“人人都是先擺上好酒，等到親友喝夠了，才擺上次等的，你倒把好酒留到現在。” ¹¹這是耶穌所行的第一件神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的。他顯出了自己的榮耀，他的門徒就信了他。

⁹and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine.^(A) He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside ¹⁰and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

¹¹What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs^(B) through which he revealed his glory;^(C) and his disciples believed in him.^(D)

⁹When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

¹⁰And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

¹¹This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
