¹⁰这时，西门·彼得带着一把刀，他拔刀向大祭司的奴仆马勒古砍去，削掉了他的右耳。

¹¹耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父赐给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

¹²千夫长带着士兵和犹太人的差役上前把耶稣捆绑起来，带了回去。

¹⁰^(A)Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

¹¹So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink ^(B)the cup which My Father has given Me?”

¹²Then the detachment of troops and the captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him.

¹⁰Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and smote the high priest’s slave and cut off his right ear. The slave’s name was Malchus.

¹¹Then Jesus said unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath; the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

¹²Then the company of soldiers and the tribune and the ministers of the Jews took Jesus and bound him

¹⁰Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.)

¹¹Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup^(A) the Father has given me?”

¹²Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials^(B) arrested Jesus. They bound him
