17 耶穌講完了這些話，就舉目望天，說：“父啊，時候到了，求你榮耀你的兒子，讓兒子也榮耀你， 2 正如你把管理全人類的權柄給了他，使他賜永生給你所賜給他的人。 3 認識你是獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。 4 我在地上已經榮耀了你，你交給我要作的工，我已經完成了。 5 父啊，現在讓我在你自己面前得著榮耀，就是在創世以前我與你同享的榮耀。
6 “你從世上分別出來賜給我的人，我已經把你的名顯明給他們了。他們是你的，你把他們賜給了我，他們也遵守了你的道。 7 現在他們知道，你所給我的，無論是甚麼，都是從你那裡來的； 8 因為你賜給我的話，我已經給了他們，他們也領受了，又確實知道我是從你那裡來的，並且信你差了我來。 9 我為他們求；我不為世人求，而是為你賜給我的人求，因為他們是你的。 10 我的一切都是你的，你的一切也是我的，並且我因著他們得了榮耀。 11 我不再在這世上，他們卻在這世上，我要到你那裡去。聖父啊，求你因你賜給我的名，保守他們，使他們合而為一，好像我們一樣。 12 我跟他們在一起的時候，因你賜給我的名，我保守了他們，也護衛了他們；他們中間除了那滅亡的人以外，沒有一個是滅亡的，這就應驗了經上的話。 13 現在我到你那裡去，我在世上說這些話，是要他們心裡充滿我的喜樂。 14 我把你的道賜給了他們；世人恨他們，因為他們不屬於這世界，像我不屬於這世界一樣。 15 我不求你使他們離開世界，只求你保守他們脫離那惡者。 16 他們不屬於這世界，像我不屬於這世界一樣。 17 求你用真理使他們成聖；你的道就是真理。 18 你怎樣差我到世上來，我也怎樣差他們到世上去。 19 我為了他們的緣故，自己分別為聖，使他們也因著真理成聖。

17 耶稣说完后，就抬头望着天说：“父啊！时候到了，愿你使你的儿子得荣耀，好让你的儿子也使你得荣耀。 2 因为你把管理世人的权柄赐给了祂，使祂可以将永生赐予你交托给祂的人。 3 这永生就是，认识你——独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督。 4 我已经完成你交给我的工作，使你在地上得了荣耀。 5 父啊，现在让我和你同享创世以前我们所共有的荣耀吧！
6 “你从世上赐给我的人，我已将你[a]显明给他们。他们本来属于你，你将他们赐给了我，他们遵守你的道。 7 如今他们知道，你赐给我的一切都是从你那里来的， 8 因为我已经把你赐给我的道赐给他们，他们也接受了，并且确实知道我是从你那里来的，也相信是你差遣了我。
9 “我不为世人祈求，却为他们祈求，就是为你赐给我的那些人祈求，因为他们属于你。 10 一切属于我的都是你的，属于你的也是我的，我从他们身上得了荣耀。 11 现在我要离开这个世界去你那里了，他们却仍然留在世上。圣父啊，求你为了自己的名，就是你赐给我的名而保守他们，使他们像我们一样合而为一。 12 我和他们在一起的时候，靠着你赐给我的名保守他们，看顾他们。除了那个注定灭亡的人以外，他们一个也没有灭亡，这是为了应验圣经上的话。
13 “现在我要去你那里了，我趁着还在世上的时候这样说，是要叫他们心里充满我的喜乐。 14 我已将你的道赐给他们，世人恨他们，因为他们像我一样不属于这个世界。 15 我不求你带他们离开这个世界，但求你保守他们脱离那恶者。 16 因为他们像我一样不属于这个世界。 17 求你用真理，就是你的道，使他们圣洁。 18 你怎样差我到世上来，我也照样差他们到世人中间。 19 为了他们，我献上自己，使他们借着真理可以圣洁。

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, (A)the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 (B)as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He [a]should give eternal life to as many (C)as You have given Him. 3 And (D)this is eternal life, that they may know You, (E)the only true God, and Jesus Christ (F)whom You have sent. 4 (G)I have glorified You on the earth. (H)I have finished the work (I)which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together [b]with Yourself, with the glory (J)which I had with You before the world was.

9 “I pray for them. 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who [j]will believe in Me through their word; 21 (AG)that they all may be one, as (AH)You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the (AI)glory which You gave Me I have given them, (AJ)that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; (AK)that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24 (AL)“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; (AM)for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father!
