耶穌的禱告
17 耶穌說完後，就抬頭望著天說：「父啊！時候到了，願你使你的兒子得榮耀，好讓你的兒子也使你得榮耀。 2 因為你把管理世人的權柄賜給了祂，使祂可以將永生賜予你交託給祂的人。 3 這永生就是，認識你——獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督。 4 我已經完成你交給我的工作，使你在地上得了榮耀。 5 父啊，現在讓我和你同享創世以前我們所共有的榮耀吧！
6 「你從世上賜給我的人，我已將你[a]顯明給他們。他們本來屬於你，你將他們賜給了我，他們遵守你的道。 7 如今他們知道，你賜給我的一切都是從你那裡來的， 8 因為我已經把你賜給我的道賜給他們，他們也接受了，並且確實知道我是從你那裡來的，也相信是你差遣了我。

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified
17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven(A) and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come.(B) Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.(C) 2 For you granted him authority over all people(D) that he might give eternal life(E) to all those you have given him.(F) 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you,(G) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.(H) 4 I have brought you glory(I) on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.(J) 5 And now, Father, glorify me(K) in your presence with the glory I had with you(L) before the world began.(M)

6 “I have revealed you[a](N) to those whom you gave me(O) out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me(P) and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you,(Q) and they believed that you sent me.(R)
