²吃晚饭的时候（魔鬼已经把出卖耶稣的意念放在西门的儿子加略人犹大的心里）， ³耶稣知道父已经把万有交在他手中，并且知道自己从　神而来，又要回到　神那里去， ⁴就起身离席，脱去外衣，拿一条手巾束腰。

New International Version

²The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.^(A) ³Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power,^(B) and that he had come from God^(C) and was returning to God; ⁴so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist.^(D)

²During supper, when ^(A)the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, ³Jesus, knowing ^(B)that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that ^(C)he had come from God and ^(D)was going back to God, ⁴rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, ^(E)tied it around his waist.
