在伯大尼被膏抹
12 逾越节前六天，耶稣来到[a]拉撒路所在的伯大尼，就是他使拉撒路从死人中复活的地方。 2 有些人在那里为耶稣预备晚餐，玛妲正伺候着。拉撒路也在与耶稣坐席的人当中。 3 这时候，玛丽亚拿了一斤[b]极其贵重的纯哪哒香液，膏抹耶稣的脚，又用自己的头发擦干，屋子里就充满了香液的气味。
4 他的一个门徒，就是后来要出卖耶稣的那个加略人犹大却说： 5 “为什么不把这香液卖三百个银币[c]去分给穷人呢？” 6 他说这话，并不是因为顾念穷人，而是因为他是个贼。他管钱包，常常拿走其中所存的。
7 耶稣说：“由她吧！她是为我安葬的日子而保存的。 8 要知道，你们总是有穷人与你们在一起，但你们不总是有我。”
决定杀害拉撒路
9 有一大群犹太人知道耶稣在那里，就来了。他们不仅是为了耶稣的缘故，也是为了看拉撒路，就是耶稣使他从死人中复活的那个人。 10 于是祭司长们就商议，连拉撒路也要杀掉， 11 因为有许多犹太人为了拉撒路的缘故，离开他们，信了耶稣。
光荣进圣城
12 第二天，一大群上来过节的人听说耶稣要来到耶路撒冷， 13 就拿着棕榈树枝出去迎接他，欢呼说：
“和散那！
奉主名而来的那一位，
以色列的王啊，
是蒙祝福的！”[d]
14 耶稣找来一头驴驹，骑在上面，正如经上所记： 15 “锡安的女儿啊，不要怕！看哪，你的王骑着驴驹来了！”[e]
16 耶稣的门徒们当初不明白这些事，等到耶稣得了荣耀以后，才想起这些话是指着他写的，人们果然向他做了这些事。 17 当耶稣呼唤拉撒路从坟墓中出来，使他从死人中复活的时候，那些与耶稣在一起的众人就见证了这件事。 18 众人之所以也去迎接他，是因为他们听说他行了这神迹。
19 于是法利赛人互相说：“可见你们真没用！看，这世界都跟随他去了。”
预言受难
20 当时，上来过节敬拜的人中，有一些希腊人。 21 这些人来到加利利的伯赛达人腓力那里，求他说：“先生，我们想见耶稣。”
22 腓力去告诉安得烈，安得烈和腓力就去告诉耶稣。 23 耶稣回答他们，说：“人子得荣耀的时候到了！ 24 我确确实实地告诉你们：一粒麦子如果不落在地里死去，它仍然是一粒；如果死了，就结出很多子粒[f]来。 25 爱惜自己生命的，就失去生命；在这世上恨恶自己生命的，将保全生命到永生。 26 一个人如果要服事我，就当跟从我；我在哪里，我的仆人也将要在哪里。如果有人服事我，父将尊重他。
27 “现在我的灵魂烦扰。我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？但我正是为了这时刻而来的。 28 父啊，愿你荣耀你的名[g]！”
这时候，有声音从天上传来：“我已经荣耀了我的名，还要再荣耀！”
29 站在那里的众人听见了，就说：“打雷了。”另有人说：“是天使在对他说话。”
30 耶稣就回答说：“这声音不是为我，而是为你们来的。 31 现在，是这世界受审判的时候了；现在，世界的那掌权者要被赶出去了。 32 至于我，当我从地上被举起来的时候，就会吸引所有的人归向我。” 33 耶稣说这话是指自己将要怎样死。
34 众人回答他：“我们从律法中听到，基督是永远长存的。你怎么说‘人子必须被举起来’呢？这‘人子’到底是谁？”
35 耶稣说：“光在你们当中的时候不多了。要趁着有光的时候行走，免得黑暗抓住你们！因为在黑暗里行走的人，不知道自己往哪里去。 36 你们要趁着有光的时候信这光，好使你们成为光明的儿女。”耶稣说了这些话，就离开他们被隐藏了。
应验以赛亚的预言
37 耶稣虽然在他们面前行了这么多神迹，他们仍然不信他。 38 这是为要应验先知以赛亚所说的话：
39 他们之所以不能相信，是因为以赛亚又说过：
40 “神使他们瞎了眼，
硬了心，
免得他们眼睛看见，
心里明白，
回转过来，
我就使他们痊愈。”[j]
41 以赛亚说了这些话，是因为看见了耶稣的荣耀[k]，就讲论他的事。
42 不过甚至是首领当中也有许多信耶稣的。但是为了法利赛人的缘故，他们不敢承认，免得被赶出会堂， 43 这是因为他们喜爱人的荣耀，胜过喜爱神的荣耀。
耶稣宣告使命
44 耶稣喊着说：“信我的人，不是信我，而是信派我来的那一位。 45 谁看见我，就是看见派我来的那一位。 46 我就是光。我来到世上，好让所有信我的人不住在黑暗里。 47 如果有人听了我的话却不遵守[l]，我不定他的罪；因为我来，不是为了定世人的罪，而是为了拯救世人。 48 拒绝我，又不接受我话的人，自有定他罪的：我所讲的话语，在末日要定他的罪。 49 这是因为我没有凭自己讲话，而是派我来的父给了我命令，要我说什么和讲什么。 50 我知道他的命令就是永恒的生命。所以我所讲的，正是照着父所告诉我的来讲的。”

一位女子荣耀耶稣
12 逾越节的前六天，耶稣来到伯大尼，即拉撒路住的地方。耶稣曾使他死而复生。 2 在那里他们为耶稣准备了晚饭，马大在旁边伺候着。拉撒路也和其他人一起与耶稣围坐在桌边。 3 马利亚拿来一罐昂贵的纯哪哒香膏，抹在耶稣的脚上，然后，又用她的头发为他擦干脚，屋子里充满了香气。 4 耶稣的一位门徒—加略人犹大，他就是后来出卖了耶稣的人，说道： 5 “为什么不把香膏卖了，它值一年的工钱呢，然后把钱分给穷人呢？” 6 犹大这么说，并非出于对穷人的关心，而是因为他是个小偷，因为他经管钱箱，所以经常从里面偷偷摸摸拿点钱。
7 耶稣说∶“别打扰她，随她吧，她是在为我的葬礼那天作准备。 8 你们会总会和穷人在一起，但你们却不会常有我。”
杀害拉撒路的阴谋
9 许多来过逾越节的犹太人，发现耶稣在伯大尼。他们去那里不仅是为了看耶稣，也是为了看耶稣起死回生的拉撒路。 10 因此，祭司长也策划要杀害拉撒路。 11 因为拉撒路之事，许多犹太人离开他们的首领，信仰了耶稣。
耶稣像王一样进入耶路撒冷
12 第二天，许多来过节的人听说耶稣要来耶路撒冷， 13 都拿着棕榈枝去欢迎他，呼喊着：
“和撒那！祝福奉主的名义而来的人！
祝福以色列王！”
14 耶稣找来一头驴，骑在上面，正如《经》上所记载的那样：
16 开始，耶稣的门徒不明白这些事情，直到耶稣得到荣耀后，他们才记起《经》对他的记载，而且他们果然按经上所说的那样对待了他。
人们谈论耶稣
17 当耶稣把拉撒路从坟墓召出，把他从死亡里救活时，周围有许多人，这些人把这件事传开了， 18 许多人因为听说他所行的这个奇迹，都出来迎接他、 19 因此，法利赛人彼此说道∶“瞧！我们一事无成。全世界的人都追随他去了。”
耶稣谈生死
20 在逾越节习惯去朝拜的人中有一部分是非犹太人， 21 他们去见加利利伯赛大的腓力，请求道∶“先生，我们想见耶稣。”腓力去告诉安得烈， 22 安得烈又和腓力一起来告诉耶稣。
23 耶稣回答说∶“人子受到荣耀的时刻到了， 24 我实话告诉你们，如果一颗麦粒没有落在地里死去，它依然是一粒种子，但是，一旦它死了，它就会结出许多麦粒。 25 那些爱惜自己生命的人会失去生命；而憎恶世上自己生命的人，则会保守生命到永生。 26 侍奉我的人，必须跟随我，我在哪里，我的仆人也要在哪里。侍奉我的人，父会赐给他荣誉。
耶稣谈自己的死
27 “我的心现在非常忧愁，我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离受难的时刻吗？’但我正是为这一刻而来的啊！ 28 父，愿您荣耀您的名字。”
这时，从天上传来一个声音说∶“我已经为我的名字带来了荣耀，我将再次给它带来荣耀。”
29 周围的人听见了，都说那是雷声。
其他人说∶“一个天使对他说过话。”
30 耶稣回答说∶“这声音不是为了我的缘故，而是为了你们而来的。 31 现在是审判这个世界的时候了，这世上的统治者将被推翻。 32 当我从地上被举起时，会把所有的人都吸引在我的身边。” 33 （耶稣这么说，是为了告诉人们，他将会遭受到什么样的死亡。）
34 人们回答道∶“我们从律法中知道，基督是永生的，所以，你怎么能说人子必须从地上被举起呢？这个人是谁？”
35 耶稣对人们说∶“你们还会有一段短暂的光，乘着还有光赶快赶路吧，别让黑暗赶上你们，黑暗里行走的人不知道他往哪里去， 36 趁着光还在，你们信赖它吧，使你们成为光之子。”说完，耶稣离去，躲开了所有的人。
犹太人拒绝信仰耶稣
37 尽管耶稣当着人们的面行了这些奇迹，但是，他们还是不信仰他， 38 所以，这正应验了先知以赛亚的话：
“主，谁相信我们的信息，
主的力量向谁显示过呢？”
39 由于这个缘故，他们不能相信他，因为，以赛亚还说：
40 “他蒙蔽了他们的眼睛，
让他们的心灵迟钝，
以至于他们视而不见，
心灵不能理解，
不转向我－这样我才好治愈他们。”
41 因为，以赛亚看到了耶稣的光辉，所以才这么谈论他的。
42 既便如此，还是有很多人，甚至包括一些犹太首领也信仰了耶稣，但是，因为法利赛人，他们却不敢公开承认，以免被开除出会堂， 43 因为，他们喜爱来自世人的赞赏，超过了喜爱来自上帝的赞赏。
耶稣的教导将审判世人
44 耶稣高声说道∶“信仰我的人并不是在信仰我，而是信仰派我来的上帝， 45 看见我的人，就是看到了派我来的上帝。 46 我做为光来到这个世界，是不让任何信仰我的人处在黑暗之中。”
47 “至于任何听了我的话却不遵守的人，我不会定他的罪，因为，我来到这个世上，不是要给这个世界定罪的，而是来拯救它的。 48 摒弃和不接受我的话的人，会有审判他的。在这个时代的末日那天，我说过的话会定他的罪。 49 因为，我不是代表我自己说话，而是派我来的父亲命令我该说什么和怎样说。 50 我知道他的命令意味着永生，因此，我说的话，就是父亲叫我说的话。”

5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
22 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
