38 So Jesus, again being deeply moved within, *came to the tomb. Now it was a (A)cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus *said, “Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, *said to Him, “Lord, by this time [a]there will be a stench, for he has been dead (B)four days.” 40 Jesus *said to her, “(C)Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

38 Jesus, once more deeply moved,(A) came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.(B) 39 “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”(C)
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe,(D) you will see the glory of God?”(E)
