10 “我实实在在告诉你们，那不从门进羊圈，倒从别处爬进去的，那人就是贼，就是强盗； 2 那从门进去的，才是羊的牧人。 3 看门的给他开门，羊也听他的声音；他按着名字呼叫自己的羊，领牠们出来。 4 他把自己的羊领出来以后，就走在前头，羊也跟随他，因为认得他的声音。 5 牠们决不会跟随陌生人，反而逃避他，因为不认得陌生人的声音。” 6 耶稣对他们说了这个譬喻，他们却不明白他所说的是甚么。
7 于是耶稣又说：“我实实在在告诉你们，我就是羊的门。 8 所有在我以先来的，都是贼和强盗；羊却不听从他们。 9 我就是门，如果有人借着我进来，就必定得救，并且可以出、可以入，也可以找到草场。 10 贼来了，不过是要偷窃、杀害、毁坏；我来了，是要使羊得生命，并且得的更丰盛。 11 我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。 12 那作雇工不是牧人的，羊也不是自己的，他一见狼来，就把羊撇下逃跑，狼就抓住羊群，把他们驱散了； 13 因为他是个雇工，对羊群漠不关心。 14 我是好牧人，我认识我的羊，我的羊也认识我， 15 好象父认识我，我也认识父一样；并且我为羊舍命。 16 我还有别的羊，不在这羊圈里；我必须把牠们领来，牠们也要听我的声音，并且要合成一群，归于一个牧人。 17 父爱我，因为我把生命舍去，好再把它取回来。 18 没有人能夺去我的生命，是我自己舍去的。我有权把生命舍去，也有权把它取回来；这是我从我的父所领受的命令。”
19 犹太人因着这些话又起了纷争。 20 他们当中有许多人说：“他是鬼附的，他发疯了；为甚么要听他呢？” 21 另外有人说：“这话不是鬼附的人所说的。鬼怎能使瞎子的眼睛开了呢？”
犹太人弃绝耶稣
22 在耶路撒冷，献殿节到了，那时是冬天。 23 耶稣在殿的所罗门廊上走过， 24 犹太人围着他，对他说：“你使我们心里悬疑不定，要到几时呢？如果你是基督，就公开地告诉我们吧！” 25 耶稣对他们说：“我已经告诉你们，你们却不相信；我奉我父的名所作的事，可以为我作证。 26 只是你们不信，因为你们不是我的羊。 27 我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我。 28 我赐给他们永生，他们永不灭亡，谁也不能把他们从我手里夺去。 29 那位把羊群赐给我的父比一切都大，也没有人能把他们从我父的手里夺去。 30 我与父原为一。”
31 犹太人又拿起石头要打他。 32 耶稣对他们说：“我把许多从父那里来的善事显给你们看，你们因哪一件要用石头打我呢？” 33 犹太人对他说：“我们不是因为善事用石头打你，而是因为你说了僭妄的话；又因为你是个人，竟然把自己当作 神。” 34 耶稣说：“你们的律法上不是写着‘我说你们是神’吗？ 35 圣经是不能废除的，如果那些承受 神的道的人， 神尚且称他们是神， 36 那么父所分别为圣又差到世上来的，他自称是 神的儿子，你们就说他说了僭妄 神的话吗？ 37 我若不作我父的事，你们就不必信我； 38 我若作了，你们纵然不信我，也应当信这些事，好使你们确实知道，我父是在我里面，我也在父里面。” 39 他们又要逮捕耶稣，他却从他们的手中逃脱了。
40 耶稣又往约旦河东去，到约翰从前施洗的地方，住在那里。 41 许多人到他那里去，说：“约翰没有行过一件神迹，但约翰指着这人所说的一切话，都是真实的。” 42 在那里就有许多人信了耶稣。

10 耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，不從門進羊圈而從別處爬進去的人就是賊，是強盜。 2 從門進去的才是羊的牧人， 3 看門的會給他開門，羊也聽他的聲音。他按名字叫自己的羊，把牠們領出來。 4 領出來之後，自己便走在前面，羊群也跟著他，因為羊認得他的聲音。 5 羊從不跟隨陌生人，見了陌生人就逃跑，因為牠們不認得陌生人的聲音。」
6 耶穌講了這個比喻，但聽的人都不明白祂的意思。 7 於是祂又說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，我就是羊的門。 8 在我以前來的，都是賊，是強盜，羊不聽從他們。 9 我就是門，從我進來的必定得救，並且會安然出入，找到草吃。 10 盜賊來，無非是要偷竊、殺害、毀壞。但我來是要羊得生命，並且得到豐盛的生命。

19 猶太人因這番話又起了紛爭。 20 他們當中好些人說：「祂被鬼附身了！祂瘋了！何必聽祂的？」
21 又有些人說：「被鬼附身的人不會說這種話的，鬼能醫好瞎眼的人嗎？」
被猶太人棄絕
22 耶路撒冷慶祝修殿節的時候到了，是在冬天。 23 當耶穌走過聖殿的所羅門廊時， 24 一群猶太人圍著祂說：「你讓我們困惑、猜疑要到什麼時候呢？如果你是基督，就清楚地告訴我們吧！」
25 耶穌回答說：「我已經告訴你們了，你們卻不信。我奉我父的名所行的神蹟也為我做見證， 26 只是你們不肯相信，因為你們不是我的羊。 27 我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我。 28 我要賜他們永生，他們永不滅亡。沒有人能從我的手裡把他們搶走。 29 我父把羊賜給我，祂比萬物都大，沒有人能從祂手中把羊搶走。 30 我和父本為一。」
31 於是猶太人又拿起石頭要打祂。 32 耶穌就問他們：「我將許多從父而來的美善之事顯給你們看，你們為了哪一件事拿石頭打我呢？」
33 猶太人回答說：「我們不是因為你做的善事打你，而是因為你說了褻瀆的話，你是人，卻把自己當作上帝。」
34 耶穌說：「你們的律法書上不是寫著『我曾說你們都是神』嗎？ 35 聖經上的話是不能廢的，既然上帝稱那些承受祂道的人為神， 36 那麼我是父分別出來又差到世上來的，我說自己是上帝的兒子，難道是褻瀆嗎？ 37 如果我不做我父的事，你們不必信我。 38 但如果我做了，你們縱然不信我，也應該相信我所做的事，這樣你們就會知道、領悟父在我裡面，我也在父裡面。」
39 他們又要抓耶穌，但祂從他們手中逃脫了。
40 後來，耶穌到了約旦河東岸約翰從前施洗的地方，在那裡住下來。 41 許多人來到祂那裡。他們說：「雖然約翰沒有行過神蹟，可是約翰所說關於這人的事全是真的。」 42 在那裡許多人信了耶穌。

The Faithful Hear the Shepherd’s Voice
10 “Amen, amen I tell you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice. The shepherd calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
4 “When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them; and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Yeshua told them this parable, but they did not understand what He was telling them.
7 So Yeshua said again, “Amen, amen I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All those who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate![a] If anyone comes in through Me, he will be saved. He will come and go and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it abundantly!
11 “I am the Good Shepherd.[b] The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12 The hired worker is not the shepherd, and the sheep are not his own. He sees the wolf coming and abandons the sheep and flees. Then the wolf snatches and scatters the sheep. 13 The man is only a hired hand and does not care about the sheep.
14 “I am the Good Shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me, 15 just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not from this fold; those also I must lead, and they will listen to My voice. So there shall be one flock, one Shepherd.
17 “For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, so that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”
19 Again a division arose among the Judeans because of these words. 20 Many of them were saying, “He has a demon. He’s insane! Why listen to Him?” 21 Others said, “These are not the sayings of someone who is plagued by a demon. A demon cannot open the eyes of the blind, can it?”
Some Despise the Light and Harden
22 Then came Hanukkah;[c] it was winter in Jerusalem. 23 Yeshua was walking in the Temple around Solomon’s Colonnade. 24 Then the Judean leaders surrounded Him, saying, “How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us outright!”
25 Yeshua answered them, “I told you, but you don’t believe! The works I do in My Father’s name testify concerning Me. 26 But you don’t believe, because you are not My sheep. 27 My sheep hear My voice. I know them, and they follow Me. 28 I give them eternal life! They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. And no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
31 Again the Judean leaders picked up stones to stone Him. 32 Yeshua answered them, “I’ve shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone Me?”
33 The Judean leaders answered, “We aren’t stoning you for a good work, but for blasphemy. Though You are a man, You make Yourself God!”
34 Yeshua answered them, “Isn’t it written in your Writings,[d] ‘I have said you are gods’? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him, the One the Father set apart and sent into the world, ‘You speak blasphemy,’ because I said, ‘I am Ben-Elohim’?
37 “If I don’t do the works of My Father, don’t believe Me! 38 But if I do, even if you don’t trust Me, trust the deeds. Then you may come to know and continue to understand that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father.” 39 Therefore they tried to capture Him again, but He escaped from their hand.
40 Again He went back across the Jordan to the place where John first started immersing, and He stayed there. 41 Many people came to Him and were saying, “John performed no sign, but all John said about this man was true.” 42 And many trusted in Him there.

The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
10 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.(A) 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.(B) 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice.(C) He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.(D) 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.(E) 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech,(F) but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.(G)
7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am(H) the gate(I) for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me(J) are thieves and robbers,(K) but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life,(L) and have it to the full.(M)
11 “I am(N) the good shepherd.(O) The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.(P) 12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away.(Q) Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 “I am the good shepherd;(R) I know my sheep(S) and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father(T)—and I lay down my life for the sheep.(U) 16 I have other sheep(V) that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock(W) and one shepherd.(X) 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life(Y)—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord.(Z) I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”(AA)
19 The Jews who heard these words were again divided.(AB) 20 Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed(AC) and raving mad.(AD) Why listen to him?”
21 But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon.(AE) Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”(AF)
Further Conflict Over Jesus’ Claims
22 Then came the Festival of Dedication[b] at Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade.(AG) 24 The Jews(AH) who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”(AI)
25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you,(AJ) but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me,(AK) 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.(AL) 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them,(AM) and they follow me.(AN) 28 I give them eternal life,(AO) and they shall never perish;(AP) no one will snatch them out of my hand.(AQ) 29 My Father, who has given them to me,(AR) is greater than all[c];(AS) no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”(AT)
31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him,(AU) 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”(AV)
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law,(AW) ‘I have said you are “gods”’[d]?(AX) 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God(AY) came—and Scripture cannot be set aside(AZ)— 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart(BA) as his very own(BB) and sent into the world?(BC) Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?(BD) 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.(BE) 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”(BF) 39 Again they tried to seize him,(BG) but he escaped their grasp.(BH)
40 Then Jesus went back across the Jordan(BI) to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. There he stayed, 41 and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign,(BJ) all that John said about this man was true.”(BK) 42 And in that place many believed in Jesus.(BL)

Jesús, el buen pastor
10 »Ciertamente os aseguro que el que no entra por la puerta al redil de las ovejas, sino que trepa y se mete por otro lado, es un ladrón y un bandido. 2 El que entra por la puerta es el pastor de las ovejas. 3 El portero le abre la puerta, y las ovejas oyen su voz. Llama por nombre a las ovejas y las saca del redil. 4 Cuando ya ha sacado a todas las que son suyas, va delante de ellas, y las ovejas lo siguen porque reconocen su voz. 5 Pero a un desconocido jamás lo siguen; más bien, huyen de él porque no reconocen voces extrañas».
6 Jesús les puso este ejemplo, pero ellos no captaron el sentido de sus palabras. 7 Por eso volvió a decirles: «Ciertamente os aseguro que yo soy la puerta de las ovejas. 8 Todos los que vinieron antes de mí eran unos ladrones y unos bandidos, pero las ovejas no les hicieron caso. 9 Yo soy la puerta; el que entre por esta puerta, que soy yo, será salvo.[a] Se moverá con entera libertad,[b] y hallará pastos. 10 El ladrón no viene más que a robar, matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y la tengan en abundancia.
11 »Yo soy el buen pastor. El buen pastor da su vida por las ovejas. 12 El asalariado no es el pastor, y a él no le pertenecen las ovejas. Cuando ve que el lobo se acerca, abandona las ovejas y huye; entonces el lobo ataca al rebaño y lo dispersa. 13 Y ese hombre huye porque, siendo asalariado, no le importan las ovejas.
14 »Yo soy el buen pastor; conozco a mis ovejas, y ellas me conocen a mí, 15 así como el Padre me conoce a mí y yo lo conozco a él, y doy mi vida por las ovejas. 16 Tengo otras ovejas que no son de este redil, y también a ellas debo traer. Así ellas escucharán mi voz, y habrá un solo rebaño y un solo pastor. 17 Por eso me ama el Padre: porque entrego mi vida para volver a recibirla. 18 Nadie me la arrebata, sino que yo la entrego por mi propia voluntad. Tengo autoridad para entregarla y tengo también autoridad para volver a recibirla. Este es el mandamiento que recibí de mi Padre».
19 De nuevo las palabras de Jesús fueron motivo de disensión entre los judíos. 20 Muchos de ellos decían: «Está endemoniado y loco de remate. ¿Para qué hacerle caso?» 21 Pero otros opinaban: «Estas palabras no son de un endemoniado. ¿Puede acaso un demonio abrir los ojos a los ciegos?»
Jesús y la fiesta de la Dedicación
22 Por aquel entonces se celebraba en Jerusalén la fiesta de la Dedicación.[c] Era invierno, 23 y Jesús andaba en el templo, por el pórtico de Salomón. 24 Entonces lo rodearon los judíos y le preguntaron:
―¿Hasta cuándo vas a tenernos en vilo? Si tú eres el Cristo, dínoslo con franqueza.
25 ―Ya os lo he dicho, y no lo creéis. Las obras que hago en nombre de mi Padre son las que me acreditan, 26 pero vosotros no creéis porque no sois de mi rebaño. 27 Mis ovejas oyen mi voz; yo las conozco y ellas me siguen. 28 Yo les doy vida eterna, y nunca perecerán, ni nadie podrá arrebatármelas de la mano. 29 Mi Padre, que me las ha dado, es más grande que todos;[d] y de la mano del Padre nadie las puede arrebatar. 30 El Padre y yo somos uno.
31 Una vez más, los judíos tomaron piedras para arrojárselas, 32 pero Jesús les dijo:
―Os he mostrado muchas obras irreprochables que proceden del Padre. ¿Por cuál de ellas me queréis apedrear?
33 ―No te apedreamos por ninguna de ellas, sino por blasfemia; porque tú, siendo hombre, te haces pasar por Dios.
34 ―¿Y acaso —respondió Jesús— no está escrito en vuestra ley: “Yo he dicho que sois dioses”?[e] 35 Si Dios llamó “dioses” a aquellos a quienes vino la palabra (y la Escritura no puede ser quebrantada), 36 ¿por qué acusáis de blasfemia a quien el Padre apartó para sí y envió al mundo? ¿Tan solo porque dijo: “Yo soy el Hijo de Dios”? 37 Si no hago las obras de mi Padre, no me creáis. 38 Pero, si las hago, aunque no me creáis a mí, creed a mis obras, para que sepáis y entendáis que el Padre está en mí, y que yo estoy en el Padre.
39 Nuevamente intentaron arrestarlo, pero él se les escapó de las manos.
40 Volvió Jesús al otro lado del Jordán, al lugar donde Juan había estado bautizando antes; y allí se quedó. 41 Mucha gente acudía a él, y decía: «Aunque Juan nunca hizo ninguna señal milagrosa, todo lo que dijo acerca de este hombre era verdad». 42 Y muchos en aquel lugar creyeron en Jesús.
