²⁷他是在我以後來的，我就是給他解鞋帶也不配。” ²⁸這些事發生在約旦河東的伯大尼，約翰施洗的地方。

²⁹第二天，約翰見耶穌迎面而來，就說：“看哪，　神的羊羔，是除去世人的罪孽的！

²⁷He is the one who comes after me,^(A) the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.”^(B)

²⁸This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan,^(C) where John was baptizing.

²⁹The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God,^(D) who takes away the sin of the world!^(E)

²⁷He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

²⁸These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

²⁹The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
