2 亲爱的，现在我们是 神的儿女，将来怎样，还没有显明；然而我们知道：主若显现，我们必要像他，因为我们必要看见他本来是怎样的。 3 凡对他存着这盼望的，就洁净自己，像他一样的洁净。
4 凡是犯罪的，就是作了不法的事；罪就是不法。

2 Dear friends,(A) now we are children of God,(B) and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a](C) we shall be like him,(D) for we shall see him as he is.(E) 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves,(F) just as he is pure.(G)
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.(H)
