上帝要审判万国
3 “到那日，在我复兴犹大和耶路撒冷的时候， 2 我要聚集万国，带他们下到约沙法[a]谷，在那里审判他们，因为他们把我的子民，就是我的产业以色列，分散到各国，并瓜分我的土地。 3 他们抽签分了我的子民，将男童换妓女，卖女童买酒喝。
4 “泰尔、西顿和非利士境内所有的人啊，你们为什么这样对我？你们要报复我吗？如果你们是报复我，我必速速使你们遭报应。 5 你们夺去我的金银，抢走我的珍宝，拿去放在你们的庙中， 6 并把犹大和耶路撒冷的居民卖给希腊人，使他们远离家乡。 7 然而，他们被卖到哪里，我要从哪里把他们带回来，并要使你们得到报应， 8 我要把你们的儿女卖给犹大人，犹大人必把他们卖给远方的示巴人。这是耶和华说的。”

12 “万国都要起来，

因为我要坐在那里审判他们。
13 开镰吧，因为庄稼熟了；
踩踏吧，因为榨酒池的葡萄满了。
他们恶贯满盈，如酒池满溢。”
14 千千万万的人聚集在审判谷，
因为耶和华的日子要临到那里。
15 日月昏暗，
星辰无光。
16 耶和华从锡安发出怒吼，
从耶路撒冷发出雷声，
天地为之震动。
但耶和华却是祂子民的避难所，
是以色列人的堡垒。
17 “这样，你们就知道我是你们的上帝耶和华，
我住在锡安——我的圣山上。
耶路撒冷必成为圣地，
外族人必不再侵犯它。
18 “到那日，群山要滴下甜酒，
丘陵要流出乳汁。
犹大的溪涧碧水常流，
必有清泉从耶和华的殿中流出，
浇灌什亭谷。
19 埃及必一片荒凉，
以东必成为不毛之地，
因为他们曾残暴地对待犹大人，

Judgment of the Nations
3 [a]Yes, in those days and at that time,
when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,(A)
2 I will gather all the nations(B)
and take them to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.[b](C)
I will enter into judgment with them there(D)
because of My people, My inheritance Israel.
The nations have scattered the Israelites
in foreign countries(E)
and divided up My land.(F)
3 They cast lots for My people;(G)
they bartered a boy for a prostitute
and sold a girl for wine to drink.(H)
4 And also: Tyre,(I) Sidon, and all the territories of Philistia(J)—what are you to Me? Are you paying Me back or trying to get even with Me? I will quickly bring retribution on your heads.(K) 5 For you took My silver and gold and carried My finest treasures(L) to your temples. 6 You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks(M) to remove them far from their own territory. 7 Look, I am about to rouse them up from the place where you sold them;(N) I will bring retribution on your heads. 8 I will sell your sons and daughters into the hands of the people of Judah,(O) and they will sell them to the Sabeans,[c](P) to a distant nation, for the Lord has spoken.
9 Proclaim this among the nations:(Q)
Prepare for holy war;(R)
rouse the warriors;(S)
let all the men of war advance and attack!
10 Beat your plows into swords
and your pruning knives into spears.(T)
Let even the weakling say, “I am a warrior.”
11 Come quickly,[d] all you surrounding nations;
gather yourselves.(U)
Bring down Your warriors there, Lord.(V)
12 Let the nations be roused
and come to the Valley of Jehoshaphat,
for there I will sit down
to judge all the surrounding nations.(W)
13 Swing the sickle
because the harvest is ripe.(X)
Come and trample the grapes
because the winepress is full;(Y)
the wine vats overflow
because the wickedness of the nations is great.(Z)
14 Multitudes, multitudes(AA)
in the valley of decision!
For the Day of the Lord is near(AB)
in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and moon will grow dark,
and the stars will cease their shining.(AC)
16 The Lord will roar from Zion(AD)
and raise His voice from Jerusalem;(AE)
heaven and earth will shake.(AF)
But the Lord will be a refuge for His people,(AG)
a stronghold for the Israelites.(AH)
Israel Blessed
17 Then you will know
that I am Yahweh your God,(AI)
who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain.(AJ)
Jerusalem will be holy,(AK)
and foreigners will never overrun it again.(AL)
18 In that day
the mountains will drip with sweet wine,(AM)
and the hills will flow with milk.(AN)
All the streams of Judah will flow with water,(AO)
and a spring will issue from the Lord’s house,(AP)
watering the Valley of Acacias.[e](AQ)
19 Egypt will become desolate,
and Edom a desert wasteland,
because of the violence done to the people of Judah(AR)
in whose land they shed innocent blood.
20 But Judah will be inhabited forever,(AS)
and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 I will pardon their bloodguilt,[f](AT)
which I have not pardoned,
for the Lord dwells in Zion.

God Judges the Nations
3 “For behold, (A)in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 (B)I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I (C)will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.
3 They have (D)cast lots for My people,
Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,
And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
4 “Indeed, what have you to do with Me,
(E)O Tyre and Sidon, and all the coasts of Philistia?
Will you [a]retaliate against Me?
But if you [b]retaliate against Me,
Swiftly and speedily I will return your [c]retaliation upon your own head;
5 Because you have taken My silver and My gold,
And have carried into your temples My [d]prized possessions.
6 Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem
You have sold to the Greeks,
That you may remove them far from their borders.
7 “Behold, (F)I will raise them
Out of the place to which you have sold them,
And will return your [e]retaliation upon your own head.
8 I will sell your sons and your daughters
Into the hand of the people of Judah,
And they will sell them to the (G)Sabeans,[f]
To a people (H)far off;
For the Lord has spoken.”
9 (I)Proclaim this among the nations:
“Prepare for war!
Wake up the mighty men,
Let all the men of war draw near,
Let them come up.
10 (J)Beat your plowshares into swords
And your [g]pruning hooks into spears;
(K)Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ”
11 Assemble and come, all you nations,
And gather together all around.
Cause (L)Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord.
12 “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
For there I will sit to (M)judge all the surrounding nations.
13 (N)Put in the sickle, for (O)the harvest is ripe.
Come, go down;
For the (P)winepress is full,
The vats overflow—
For their wickedness is great.”
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
For (Q)the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and moon will grow dark,
And the stars will diminish their brightness.
16 The Lord also will roar from Zion,
And utter His voice from Jerusalem;
The heavens and earth will shake;
(R)But the Lord will be a shelter for His people,
And the strength of the children of Israel.
17 “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God,
Dwelling in Zion My (S)holy mountain.
Then Jerusalem shall be holy,
And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”
God Blesses His People
18 And it will come to pass in that day
That the mountains shall drip with new wine,
The hills shall flow with milk,
And all the brooks of Judah shall be flooded with water;
A (T)fountain shall flow from the house of the Lord
And water the Valley of [h]Acacias.
19 “Egypt shall be a desolation,
And Edom a desolate wilderness,
Because of violence against the people of Judah,
For they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall abide forever,
And Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will (U)acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted;
For the Lord dwells in Zion.”
